I really love this place! My friends recommended me to go to doki toki and I have to say I really love this dessert store, probably my favorite place of all time right now! Yesterday i made a semi large order for my family and some separate orders for myself and friends and the staff were really nice and helpful and got my orders all nicely done. The donuts are also surprisingly really delicious. I have to say if you told me to choose between any other kind of donut I choose mochi donuts. Their donuts are soft, chewy and a not too sweet which really fits my tastes for donuts and it’s also not dry! I’m a very picky person with donuts and although some of them weren’t too fresh they still were good( I ordered around 8pm so it’s reasonable that they weren’t as fresh). However if you like crispy donuts then don’t get mochi donuts. The mixed matcha ice cream was also very good, not too sweet and not too bitter, perfectly made in my opinion.I also ordered a few crepes and they were also very good I do suggest the Black Forest or the rose milk tea, they were both very good. Nicely layered, not too sweet like how most Americans make it (sorry but I just can’t handle too American desserts that are so sweet).Their milk teas are so very delicious however make sure not to order them with full sugar unless you’re a sweet tooth! However I hoped for more brown sugar flavor rather than mostly milk (I got the brown sugar boba milk drink)I really wanted to try their mochi ice creams but I forgot to order it so next time i definitely will.Their store is also very pretty and doesn’t have that weird machine smell that most mochi donut store has (such as donutchew in rio, I’m not criticizing it). The pricing in my opinion was actually quite reasonable for the quality and the store was very clean and sanitized.Overall I really suggest going to Doki Toki if you’re looking for a good place to have some desserts and talk with friends( there’s places to sit).

Still takeout but tried a few more new items and I'm still really impressed. We tried the 2 of the mochi donuts, the coffee and matcha ones, they were both delicious, the coffee one was my favorite, they are moist and not too sweet. The torte was yet again the star of the show! We also tried the original roll cake, which was good but not as impressive as the other items. Even their packaging is on point, the boxes they put the take out items in is very modern and appealing.I really recommend this place, hidden Gem!

They really messed up my order. It took them 25 minutes to make a matcha even though the store was completely empty. I don't know if they made it wrong a few times but they brought two of my drinks out and had me sitting waiting for a matcha for an additional 15 minutes and then it was wrong ( missing the BOBA) They also had my passion fruit tea wrong. I called and was very nice and all they offered me was a 50 cent refund. I found that to be a little ridiculous. They also need a lot more variety in their menu. They don't have any fruit topping to offer, and they seem to only use green tea or black tea, no oolong, no Earl Gray nothing. It's just very basic. I won't be back.

This is going to be short and sweet, just like the experience at Doki Toki! It's an adorable little shop, a hole in the wall you'd never suspect. You walk into a beautiful atmosphere with a modern twist. The service is quick and polite. The gentleman at the counter was very nice, and I was happy overall. The food is awesome, though. The selection is intriguing and not all that common to find here. I had the Portuguese egg tart, which was delicious. Sweet, eggy, just delicious overall. The pastry was flakey and delicious, I was thrilled! My fiance got the chocolate ice cream, and she was happy with it as well! It's not chocolate flavor just covered in chocolate. it's still tasty, though! All through its a 5! Thank you!

The matcha ice cream was what drew me in, but it was surprisingly very watery. It kept dripping even though I was inside where it was cool. I prefer creamier ice cream (Kyoto Matcha is better at this). But my friend has the rose milk crepe cake and that was yummy! The rose flavor was very prominent which we liked, and it wasn’t too sweet. They have free wifi and many tables if you’d like to sit and study. Music isn’t too loud.

Doki Toki definitely has its aesthetic going for them. It's very clean, modern and cute. Since the last time I'd gone, they'd installed a kiosk right by the door to order- pretty easy to use!I have not yet tried the ice cream or rolled cakes, but I've tried their boba and mochi doughnuts. I think the boba is pretty good and the doughnuts are alright. The bubbles have been good quality (the right texture), the tea was also smooth- didn't taste starchy or artificial. Though the doughnuts were good, they weren't anything to rave about. There are a couple of other places that have mochi doughnuts and they all seem the same to me. My only grievance would be the prices... seems expensive compared to other spots. I guess it's fine since it's one of two boba & mochi doughnut spots in the immediate area.

This is our go-to boba shop in Gaithersburg area. Cute shop with Japanese ambiance. My favorite is the Oreo cookie boba that is absolutely delicious. They are currently having a special where you can add their mochi donuts for $1.50 when you buy a drink, so I got myself some matcha and coffee donuts to go as well. The employees are always friendly and when it gets busy, they have a self service order kiosk so you don't have to wait!

Hands down the best bubble tea in the DMV area! It tastes fresh and handmade, unlike the looters they use at the big chains. Support this local business!

My friends and I were super excited to give Doki Toki a try after seeing such good reviews. Overall, the shop had a lot of seating which were all clean, and there were plenty for us to choose from.HALF AND HALF - 6.50So this is half matcha, half milk ice cream. The matcha coloring look really... off. I have never seen matcha ice cream that was the color of alien green and there was definitely food coloring because a couple bites effectively colored our tongues and lips green. The flavoring was weak and didn't taste very good. The milk ice cream felt like a sweeter, but "off" version of vanilla. Also not a big fan of this. For 6.50, I expected more. This was unappetizing. My friend also got a STRAWBERRY MOCHI DONUT, which was just OK. The donut was pretty stale. Yeah... not it.

Please bring back your original matcha softserve recipe!! It was so creamy with a nice balance of matcha. The one we had today was super watery and very different from the many times we had it in the past :( very disappointed

This bakery is legit! I live in nyc but my parents live in Rockville maryland so being home for the holidays, we gave this place a try. Y'all, i think the Mochi donuts here are better than any I've had in nyc. They seem to make this to order? Not sure but it was just so soft and fresh. The crepe cake was delicious as well! We got the matcha crepe cake and I found it very comparable to Lady M cakes ( NYC chain). The matcha flavor is pretty strong too. I'll definitely be coming back! Such a cute little bakery/tea spot

I picked up half a dozen mochi donuts for friends. I got the matcha, strawberry, oreo, coffee, and one other flavor. My friends and I enjoyed the chewy donuts. They weren't overly sweet. My favorite would be the matcha one. I also ordered the taro bubble tea. It was okay. Not real taro. I'd return to try their crepe layer cake and ice cream. It's located in downtown crown. There's street parking and garage parking.

So far, this is my favorite mochi donut shop! Compared to the other places nearby, the donuts here taste less greasy or are cheaper. The toppings also seem bolder in flavor. I tried the matcha and coffee mochi donuts. The coffee topping tasted like a sweet coffee and the matcha did taste kind of earthy with some sweetness to it. I wasn't used to the stickiness of the toppings, but I think they're dipped to order and I am 100% ok with that. I will definitely be back to get mochi donuts from here and try their matcha soft serve!

Seriously the best Brown Sugar Boba Milk Drink I've ever had. Staff is friendly too which is always a bonus. 5 stars.
