Went for the first time tonight, with my wife and son. We recently moved to the area and had been missing authentic Italian sandwiches; no longer! This place is fantastic. We tried a few of the cold cut subs and antipasto platter. Perfection. Love the soft roll bread and spicy relish they use, too. Can't wait to try the pizza next time, it looked amazing.

I will tell you, I got meatballs and also sausages....it was amazing Great prices great service. Everyone here is always friendly. This has always been 5 stars for me until today. I'd called in my sandwich and was told 10-15 minutes. I got there and paid at 10 minutes and looked towards the sandwich on the shelf and asked if my sandwich was ready. Checker said no and that he would tell me when it was ready. I waited and waited while a steady stream of sandwiches from people who had ordered while I was in the store rolled out. Finally 12 minutes after I'd gotten there the checker decided to look at the sandwich on the shelf that had been there the whole time and said here's your sandwich. I asked if it had been there the whole time. He just shrugged and said I guess. A simple apology would've gone a long way.

We bought the stuffed meat ravioli (didn't like it) frozen vodka sauce (didn't taste anything like vodka sauce) and cannoli (which I hear was good). The place sells pre-packaged pastas, among other things. I would only go back to try their pizza and/or sandwiches. This establishment has a couple of tables, perfect for lunch. Service and staff were nice.

When you think of Itallian food, you think or spices, cheese, and wonderful sauce. You can close your eyes, have a fork full of lasagna, and actually believe you are in Italy. That is how good the food is at Gemelis.
