Mackie’s was very accommodating to tailor my order into what was best for our 40+ person event! Cam gave great recommendations for what kind of order would be best. And then at the event I saw people having a great time and making so many comments about how great the BBQ was! And not to mention that Cam was such a friendly person. I don’t leave too many reviews, but this was a such a great catering experience. Would recommend, and will be coming back!

If you get the food you actually ordered the rating would be higher. I have visited this establishment multiple times and it feels like pulling teeth to get an order in. Calling never works and even if I go in the restaurant I have to holler back to the staff in the kitchen to get their attention. Today was my last straw. I called 3 times, and eventually went to the Gaithersburg location. I placed the order from the shorthanded menu. I made it back home to realize that I didn't receive 1 of my sides.
Today I ordered and they forgot the Mac and cheese. Because it's such a headache to order or phone in I did not bother to go back to receive the missing order.

We had a rack of ribs, brisket, small mac and cheese and coleslaw and it was delicious!
Mackie's packed all our food individually and then put it all in an aluminum pan just big enough to hold it so it survived the trip back home with no problems.
This place is the best! We went to the Gaithersburg (Ziggy Lane) location
I think prices are reasonable for what you get, service is always pleasant. The ribs are my favorite, but everything else is good, too!
There is a table out front for those that wish to eat there. We did carryout.
