We had dinner at the restaurant and overall it was good. The food quality could be improved. However, the service was good. It is a casual place for dining and is pretty big to accommodate a large number of people.

We happened to come across Yu Zhou after a trip to Sam's. This is clearly a family owned restaurant. On our visit I noticed the owner giving the staff iced teas from a local boba spot. Major kudos, more restaurants could learn from his leadership. Take care of your people and they'll take care of your customers. Staff was awesome and attentive, it's really an all hands on deck operation! Now the food.... Generous portions, American and authentic Chinese options and something for most everyone to enjoy. All in all a fantastic option for when you crave Chinese food!

Yu Zhou is my family's go to restaurant in the DMV and we have been coming here for over 10 years. My husband and I come here regularly and it never disappoints. They have a great lunch special but our absolute favorite is their weekend lunch special with rotating dishes. With it you get a taste of dim sum, with less of the hassle. If you want a consistent, tasty meal, come here!

We went because we love chinese food and there are great reviews about this place. I have to say that the place is old, but it is ok. Usually good hole in the wall spots are. The service was very good but the food was lacking. We did get a LOT of food for the money, but the flavors weren't there. I am no expert in chinese food, but I didnt like it. Because the prices are resonable, I say give it a try!

I come here very often. The services is amazing but today a Sichuan pepper was in my Kung Pao Chicken. Which is normally not in it. If you don’t know what that pepper is it makes your mouth go numb and makes your tongue tingle. I thought I was having an allergic reaction until I told the waiter what was happening. The experience was terrible and it made me have an anxiety attack. There is new chefs so just be aware.

I had a great meal here. The space could use a little updating, but my servers were courteous and attentive. Spring rolls, spicy noodles, and Spicy Shrimp & Okra. The entree was probably one of the best Chinese dishes I have ever had; spicy, fragrant, and flavorful. A great option for real Chinese food in MoCo.

I ordered 2 portions of pickled fish + 1 portion of spicy conch slices. One portion of pickled fish cost nearly 18 dollars, but it was only the size of a QT? Remove 1/3 vermicelli + 1/3 soup base. The fish fillet is actually only 1/3 of the QT size, and the fish fillet is so thickly wrapped in powder that you can't taste the fish at all, only the taste of pickled pepper. The spicy conch slices had no taste at all, and the conch slices had no taste at all. The whole dish only tastes of green onions and celery. I rarely leave reviews. I have eaten almost all Chinese food in the DMV area, and yours is simply the worst. Even though it’s expensive, it still tastes terrible. Impressed.

Delicious family-style Chinese food. We were greeted warmly, ordered way too much food, the wait-staff was attentive, and even the manager (maybe owner) came by to check on us.We will be back.Vegetarian options: My daughter is a pescatarian and we all just really like vegetables, so we ordered two vegetable dishes (spinach, and eggplant), and a shrimp dish.Parking: The parking lot is shared with other businesses and not well laid out. The spaces are small.Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoyed the restaurant, there were other kids at many tables as well.

great food, mix of Sichuan, Taiwanese, and your typical Chinese foods. You can order from the counter (make sure you have a mask) or from the menu with your server.

Ordered Mongolian beef that was 3/4 onions. Also ordered General chose and selected white meat, but they take that as you don't want it fried so what I got was some cut up chicken breast tossed in some general tso sauce. I told the lady they should tell you that by selecting white meat that it will not be fried, but she argued and acted like it was logical. Also got the steamed dumplings and it wasn't even that, but more like a chicken ball with a not enclosed wonton wrapper folded over it. Never again!
