This food is Amazing, God bless the hands that made it. I stopped pass for a taste of the food, the wait was 5 minutes for walk in. I order Eguasi and pounded Yams and Jellof rice. This is by far the BEST FOOD IVE HAD from and African restaurant, the Eguasi was flavorful the meet it tender. I love it.

This was my first time getting food at this restaurant and I didn’t know what it was going to be like but I took the risk and it was worth every bite! The food I ordered was 10/10. Sign me up for your membership please…... I got Eba and okra with beef.🤤

First, this is like going home. My brother and I went to Burkina Faso and Togo 3 years ago. Tola is one of the few places that I can get authentic Fufu and sauce and feel like I've been transported home. When you walk in the door everything is beautiful, warm, and inviting. The beautiful young lady who takes our order and serves us has the brightest warmest smile and she greets you like you're a long lost aunty, cousin, brother, sister, coming home. I've so far only gotten the Egusi and Fufu which has been delicious. You get a good portion for the price. We ate in the midst of a spiritual fast and this was just the perfect place to break fast together with delicious food, traditional music playing and excellent service. Plus, they stay open late. I definitely recommend going and trying Tola yourself. I only wish we took pictures but everything was so good it was gone before I thought of it.

I ordered on uber. Top 3 of Egusi soup I’ve had, and I’ve had plenty. Just the right spice and you get a good amount for the price. Packaging is top tier.

I had Egunsi Soup with Yams, it was seasoned well with the authentic African taste and texture I remembered from my Nigerian friends. I really enjoyed Tola’s food and looking forward to trying other dishes

When I came in to pick up my food the lady acted as if she seen a ghost not sure if she is shy but came off very standoff ish. The vibe of the place should have been an indicator of my meal. I had the Egusi I could've sworn I ordered it with chicken but it came with fish. Very bland... the food taste like it was made with no love in it at all. The fish was overcooked. I won't return.

I ordered ofada rice and what was advertised as designer soup, expecting ayamase. However, the soup had a different taste. When I contacted the owner, she explained the ingredients used, which clarified the difference. Nonetheless, I was hoping for ayamase stew. Additionally, the rice was soggy and had a stale taste, reminiscent of three-day-old cooked rice.

where do i even begin this is my first review ever but this place caused me to have food poisoning. The owner would even let me look to see what i had ordered she even said if look at it you might change your mind and not buy it. I should have listened. Please stay away for the sake of your health.

Had catfish peppersoup here and part of the fish was raw. Also ordered vegetable soup and assorted meat, They snuck in ponmo and chicken for me instead knowing I won't see it till I get home and open the bowl. Woeful service all together. Won't recommend.
