Price has changed drastically. They no longer offer lunch specials. I typically go here when passing through to visit family. I perfer the old management. Regarding online orders they give you a small portion. It's not worth the price. Bangkok of Franklin offers lunch specials and more. Bring back the old management. They cared about there customers

Disappointed! What I ordered was not available. She replaced my calamari with crispy shrimp roll, gave me lunch order sticky rice charged for full order and the panang chicken had little flavor.

The food was so good! I had Pad See Ew with duck and the mango sticky rice. All of it was melt-in-your-mouth good. The service was great, even though they were in the middle of a rush.

I placed a pickup order for the family here. Was given a 25 minute pickup time. I actually arrived 5 mins late and gave the lady at the front my order name and she told me its almost ready, that they're just packing it now. I took a seat and ended up waiting for and additional 15 minutes before I was brought an order out to me with a different name. I told them that's not my order and she asked for my order name a 2nd time only to then tell me "its not ready yet". When asked how long she said it wouldn't be ready for another 18 minutes which told me they hadn't even started the order yet. This info after I had given my name upon arrival was very dissatisfactory and unprofessional. It encouraged me to visit the other local Thai competitors, like Rice Thai Dining or Bangkok On Franklin for my future Thai food cravings, as I encourage anyone reading this to do as well. Why gamble on wasting time and gas money like I did to such unprofessional service?

This is my first review ever and this spot deserves it. My wife and I have been on the hunt for the best Thai food in the area. We eat Thai at least once a week. We have tried Thai in Frederick, Germantown, Georgetown and "best rated" Thai for D.C. which was in Arlington. None of these spots compare to Silk Thai!!Pan-nang coconut (2 spice) extra veggie with chicken.The creamy flavor of coconut milk with a touch heat and light basil flavor is amazing. I seriously could drink the broth every day of this dish.Drunken noodles (3spice) extra veggies with pork is on another level. Great sweet flavor on the front and a nice heat that finishes off the taste of each bite. Noodles are perfectly cooked everytime.Pad Krapow (3 spice) extra veggies extra garlic. Flavor of sweet and salty with the heat and pop of garlic is very unique.The reason this place is the best is because they use only the freshest ingredients. Portions are take home size and price is definitely a deal for this quality of food. It's a family business and you feel like family there.Support this spot I promise you will not be disappointed!

I've had Thai food all around the country and looked for a local place. Pleased to say this is my new favorite local restaurant hands down. Food was amazing, and I highly recommend the Mango Sticky Rice to finish out your meal with! Staff was very pleasant and we will be back! Green Curry was a big hit for me too and the wife loved it!

The owner, Ammy, and waitress Mei took the best care of my wife and me. The food was fantastic. The service was great, and the experience at Silk Thai couldn’t have been better. These two ladies, one from Thailand and the other from Cambodia, are everything that we Americans hope to see in newly arrived immigrants. They are hard working, conscientious, and they are here to both improve their lives and my this country better. Try Silk Thai. You’ll love it!!
