The food was great. When you walk in, no one greets you and if you’ve never been there you’re sort of left standing at the front door wondering what’s going on. My experience was my own and I don’t expect anyone else to have had the same. We sat ourselves and had to wait for more than 10 minutes to have our drink order taken and people who came in 10 minutes after us were served first. Not something I appreciated but our server was friendly so I overlooked it. Not sure I will be back but the food was really good.

I would encourage everyone to try this place out! Initially I was a little put off when we arrived ( I was expecting sobering more formal). If you’re a fan or anime and manga, the decor here will make you smile ( I don’t want to spoil anything). Our waiter was possibly 10 or 11 and could not have been more charming or genuine! He answered all our questions about the menu and was extremely attentive. I eat vegetarian sushi and the rolls were well crafted. Try the ACC roll! It was delicious! They also serve sushi tacos. Oddly the vegetable sushi taco has imitation crab meat but our waiter asked if we wanted it omitted. The sushi taco was unique and fun to eat! The prices were very reasonable.Vegetarian options: I was really happy with all the vegetarian options. The tempura was really well done. Their egg omelet sushi was a pleasant surprise!Parking: Lots of parking. We went to the restaurant on a Friday and there was no issue!

Sushi is good and even better if you get numbers 58 - 60. Maki A - C is the best and easy combo for anyones tastes. If in Hagerstown, check them out. If you stay, they make beautiful decorations on your plate of sushi - yummy!

Literally some of the best Japanese Food in Hagerstown! Everything has been delicious and there's always a great quantity of food.
In Looking at the other reviews I think I might've just caught them on a bad night. I had shrimp and veggie tempura and chicken teriyaki dinner to go. I was expecting white rice with the chicken teriyaki, I got fried rice. Did not eat it so I cannot tell you if it was good or not. I'm honestly Curious about the chicken, it seems like really low quality chicken breast. I honestly thought it was flaked and formed perhaps. Also, the sauce for the tempura spilled, so all the tempura was soggy and there was no more sauce.

This place is SERIOUSLY so great!! The service was amazing. They really treat you well!! I like Family owned businesses that have integrity about how to treat the customers!! They make sure you were happy. I live out of town. I love to get it for my mom!! The food is good and they make sure each and EVERY order is done correctly!!
