This guy makes some of the best subs around. Definitely the best in Laurel, that's for sure. Anytime I have some work done at the shop across the street, McFadden's Service Center, I almost always stop here for a bite.
There subs are the best a little pricey but worth it
I found this place to really have a good cheesesteak. Note... order the “super steak.” The regular steak is a steak-um style. Sub roll is always fresh and I always order mine with everything and no hot peppers. Fries are good. The place has a large menu, but I always go back for the steak sandwich.
Food is good and at a good price
Shane is the master of sandwich making! Try the lunch special. Philly cheese steak, fry and a Pepsi for 10 bucks. Shane works like an artist crafting a delicious sandwich while you wait. Go and enjoy!
Super steak #1
It's a good place to eat I love is Subs
The man who worked there was very nice and I loved the steak and cheese!
the only reason it get 2 stars is because of the customer service; this place is not clean the gentleman behind the counter told me that the steak and cheese are made with real beef (whatever that meant) when I got to the office to unwrap my $7.00 all beef steak and cheese it was very disappointing to see 2 steak-ums wrapped around some grilled unions don't even waist your time
The subs are a bit pricey but they were good and the boardwalk fries were delicious

These place is not the best looking, has stuff all over the place. One guy working I had a double cheesesteak that was very good I was impressed, the cook/owner took pride in my sandwich and I could taste it. Not the best looking carryout but food was very good.
The place had bugs. Crawling on top area where they have tomatoes, olives , meats at. The guy left sandwich wide open for at least 3 mins while he preparing for other food. The place needs cleaning or health dept. Needs to come.
Best steak and cheese around , gotta get the super steak and cheese though but everything is great here !
Discovered this gem of a sandwich shop in 1978 while a student at UMCP. Still love it. Steak Egg and Cheese Supersteak all the way is my go-to favorite. Nothing comes close to this treat ever since Hungry Herman's in College Park closed in the early 80's. I live 70+ miles away now, but will find excuses to be in Laurel every couple months or so. Yes it is a little pricey, but worth it. I usually will tip the dude $5 on a $15 order. It is THAT good, and no, I don't know the proprietor.
Shane's is a go to for a good cheesesteak and old fashioned fries. The prices are a little high, $12.00 for a full cheesesteak with the works, but overall the taste is worth it. Definitely stick to the super cheesesteak with caramelized onions.
