Wandered into Brudergarten today for the first time, mainly to try their Brat and Chips. It was delicious! If you want a flavorful brat with peppers, kraut, and probably some of the best in house brat mustard I have had this is the place! We even dipped the chips in the mustard. So good! The Brat was amazing with or without the mustard.

Cool spot with unique beers. Service is slow and food nothing special.Awesome outdoor spot

The beer selection choices here were excellent. I like the casual indoor/outdoor atmosphere and flow. The food quality is surprisingly good, because when you view the sporty pub decor, you tend to assume you'll have fried food for munchies. The cheese plate looks fantastic!

What a cool spot. I had a pretzel and it was slamming. Great beer list, nice outside, super diverse crowd, and it's attached to a cool little market thingy. Damn right

Outdoor seating could use a little updating, the tables aren't level so a few beers were spilled.

What an excellent addition to Southern Maryland and SOF! Brudergarten is fun, lively, and a great way to experience some local brews. I love the atmosphere here. Outside you can find cornhole and other outdoor games, as well as fun patio furniture and a setup for live music. Inside there are shuffleboard tables, and very friendly staff! The bartenders are knowledgeable about the drinks available and happy to make you something unique. I love finding new and interesting beers here! I cannot recommend this place enough for a fun night with friends, a casual hangout, or a way to meet new people. Come on by whenever you can!

Cute. I go often with friends. Their outside area is the highlight of the place and they have a wide variety of beers from different breweries. My only complaint is that there isn't a clear spot to order drinks when you walk up to the bar. I normally just stand to the left where the register is but it feels super awkward if it's crowded. Like are they in line or just standing there. Other than that. Nice place.

Very cool spot. Large outdoor space and a smallish inside space with a high ceiling. Good beer and cider with bar games like shuffleboard and darts.

Love this place. Go for the atmosphere- food and beverages are good too but the best part is the outdoor area. Games, live music and fun seating.

Great place to grab drinks with friends and coworkers. Large selection of beer and a huge outdoor area that's fun for adults and kids alike. Not a huge menu but good finger foods.

We really liked this place! Great staff and cool atmosphere both inside and out. I'm not much of a beer person and the bartender gave me 3 tap beers to try based on what I usually tolerate ok. Of the 3, I had a half pour of the Aslin Summer Fruittata which is a sour and went down without the bitter beer face I usually get! My husband liked the Lillard and Daughters Farm Haus BRü Zen Garten IPA made specifically for Brüdergarten. We also had the soft pretzel with mustard which was large and seemed to be made from scratch, hit the spot! We just stopped in to kill some time and was pleasantly surprised with what we found.

Awesome place for locally brewed beer. Has a closed in backyard for all ages. Family friendly and carries a variety of beers for even the most hipster of palettes. Go here yesterday.

While not quite Munich in October (unless the Germans are fond of astroturf and a canine billiards pitch) Brudengarten is a strangely compelling chill space that combines flights of tasty craft beer, Bavarian foodstuffs and plentiful outside seating. Just the kind of thing that may bring swarms of monied professional types back to Leonardtown proper. Sure there's plenty of kitsch but the brew and the food are both terrific more than compensating for some overwrought flourishes involving artificial grass. So word to the wise, leave your lederhosen at home, put your purebred canine in the rumble seat and follow the magic footprints to Brudengarten. Five tasty stars.

went here occasionally when I lived in the area. gotta say service was always hit or miss. prices were a little high for simple drinks. not a huge menu for food. it's nice to sit outside on a weekend when there aren't peoples unruly children running around.
