DONT GET YOUR DEER PROCESSED HERE! got 2 deer turned into all hot dogs. well they got blue plastic bag peaces inside the hot dogs. like they dropped a bag in the grinder and just said to heck with it. i go to a small shop like this to try and prevent stuff like this. i got another 300 dollars. i can find another deer. but that was my nephews first buck. can’t get that back. what a waste! how can they care so little about the integrity of their work? never again.

wow. im peeved. after leaving tips in the jar for years, i just found out that the girls behind the counter do not receive there tips, and that the manager takes the tips. im glad i found out before i bought my meat for the 4th i wont ever be going back.

Quality! Quality meats! Quality service! Instead of eating at a fast food restaurant along the highway, we drove about a mile and a half to Holsinger’s meats. Man, are we ever glad we did. We bought our sandwiches and fries, walked across the street and ate in a gazebo area in a little park. Seating is not available inside the restaurant, but available across the street with picnic tables, or in a small gazebo belonging to the city park. We weren’t there just for food, but for the experience. They have freezers of quality meats, including venison. If you have your own little cooler, be sure to fill it up before you leave. Remember, this is more of a butcher shop than a restaurant, but their sandwiches are fresh and of great quality.

what a great find just off the highway - we used garmin to find a restaurant and luckily we were near the exit for this place. got the rib eye sandwiches and they were great - also great fries and potato salad. picked up breakfast sausage and steaks for our long weekend getaway we are headed on - so high hopes for those too. also picked up some jerky and meat sticks ( great selections)

Well we tried the ribeye steak sandwich and the Country ham sandwich. We won't be back. Both sandwiches were not good at all. The country ham was slimy and the bread was mush. The ribeye was just not good at all.The Service was great. People were very nice and friendly.Food just wasn't good at all.
