We had our last breakfast at the Dough Roller before heading home from the Endless Summer Cruise in Ocean City Maryland. Nice place, good food. Candy Lashes was our Waitress. Took good care of us. ?

I went in there For a to go pizza. They were out of drinks to go. And the pizza was horrible, it had big ruts all over it. Where the dough was very thin and burned on the bottom.

My husband and I went here for breakfast on our trip to Ocean City. We were greeted and sat right away. We were told the waitress would be with us in a few minutes and she was. She and everyone that worked there were very attentive, and they worked as a team to make sure we were taken care of. On top of it the portions were big, and the price was right. Definitely recommend!

First the good: service was great, I love the kitschy/retro decor, plenty of parking, and the pancakes did not disappoint. Husband got the Little Roller with scrapple and over easy egg and enjoyed it. Coffee was decent. Now the not so good: Breakfast was average. I got an omelet and was shocked that they used canned mushrooms. Fresh mushrooms make a huge difference. The omelet was cooked well overall. The potatoes are from frozen so nothing special. I can’t speak to their dinner or their lunch items, but I wouldn’t go back for breakfast and I assume they use canned mushrooms for other items as well.

The food was very good but unless you have an iron clad stomach I don't recommend the pepperoni obsessed lol. The wait staff was quick to get everything to us and the atmosphere was interesting. The only down side is that it's a little cramped seating wise and the room gets very loud the fuller the restaurant gets.

This is the best place on coastal highway. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Pizza is amazing. They're always our goto spot to walk and grab a quick bite.

Breakfast was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the orange juice. The grits were delicious. Not the biggest fan of the omelette, not enough egg for me. Will definitely come back next time we visit.

Got pizza and wings. Pizza was decent (for MD) it came out hot. More of a thinner crust. The wings were banging. Garlic Parm wings were on point. Service was meh. The waitress was not attentive and never checked back. Just stood and stared at us while we ate.

Came at 2pm on a Sunday. The hostesses were “whispering” to each other about who had to take us. So incredibly loud and rude, no one wanted kids. On the right side of the restaurant half of the staff were sitting at tables playing on their phones. It took 8 minutes to acknowledge our table. We were one of maybe 6 tables in the entire restaurant. Food was ok. Fries were good, pizza was just ok. The peppers were huge and the cooks too lazy to cut them on their special pizza. I felt a little ill after eating there. I also saw a server overfill a cup and watched her take a sip before putting it on a tray. When paying with a card they charge a service fee- fine. But then the tip prompt comes up and the bottom number is 20%. I definitely did not receive 20% service. Our server disappeared constantly. No refills. Other servers looked like they hated their jobs and the atmosphere was really uncomfortable. Have been eating here 15+ years. Likely won’t be back. Every employee looked miserable and frankly unkempt/dirty.

Very disappointed. We sch a pickup hours before for a half cheese half pepperoni pizza. They forgot the pepperoni and when my husband let them know the kitchen said "there's no way they forgot something" but then realized. So they tossed on some cold pepperoni, which i could have done at home and saved almost $2...

We were originally going to eat at the 6909 location for lunch but we decided otherwise. Our server was friendly (hence the 2 stars), but you can see the area where they pull the orders to bring them to you. We saw one of the younger guys cough near the food without covering his mouth, patting sweat off his face with a napkin and cough again over the food (this time covering his mouth). Our food was sitting waiting, we could hear the cook say "We gotta get this food out," right before the other guy coughed again. We just got up and left.We saw another one down Coastal a few mins away and decided to try them. A very different and much better experience. I will be doing a separate review for them.

I would have given 5 stars, but because of this year (2023), this place deserves a 2 out of 5. My family and I go to Ocean City every year for vacation. It's a tradition. Every year, on the first day, we go to Dough Roller. So, on Saturday, July 28th, 2023 we went to the 70th Street restaurant location. That place was mess! The hostess sat us a table and above it, the roof was leaking. My Grandmother's back was getting wet, so we asked if we could move to the table in the corner (which had more room) and the hostess said we couldn't sit there. So we sat at a booth (which was fine). And then I see her take another family to the table we wanted to sit at. So in my head, I was confused because why couldn't we sit there? Anyways, we order our food. We got 4 personal pizzas with what each of us wanted. All 4 pizzas came out bad. It tough to chew and it wasn't all that tasty either. Anyways, that was the first bad experience this year. The second one was at the Boardwalk location. This time it was a little better than 70th Street. The 2 personal pizzas that we got were a little bit better. It was still a little rough to eat. We also got the bacon cheese fries and they were cold when we got them. Also, there were annoying flies, but can't really do anything about them because we were at the boardwalk. The third bad experience was at the 70th street location (again). We ordered carry out. We got 2 medium extra cheese pizzas. One of them was burnt and hard to chew. The cheese was hard and not gooey like it was in the years past and didn't have any flavor. All in all, the hostesses and servers were very nice and accommodating. But that actual food was a disaster for the most part.
