Huge disappointment!! Service was terrible and food was at best average. No managers to be seen to address issues. Definitely in need of attention. Too bad - was looking forward to nice night out.

Ambience is entirely too bright. Felt like I was in a retail store. And as with most restaurants it was just too loud. Absolutely no soft surfaces to absorb any sound. “Whole Fish” was actually a half a fish. When I asked the server, I was told that getting the TOP half of the fish was in fact a whole fish because it was the full length. Hmmmm? The mussels however were fine.

This place used to be really good. We went there Friday night and were disappointed. The ambiance is that of a sub shop. The lights are too bright. They served the wrong beer, but did comp it. For a place that specializes in mussels, they were not large and plump, but were tiny. The Jamaican curry sauce was delicious. The service was very slow. We felt ignored. Will not be back.
Our food came out separately, about 10 minutes apart. The lights were bright and the ambiance experienced in the past was gone. Food was good. Check was wrong but was quickly corrected.

Very crowded on Valentines Day, even with a reservation, some parties had a long wait. Small dining room. Food was tasty and well prepared though prices were high ($30 - $60) per entree.

Had not been here in over 5 years, and had forgotten about it, until I was recently searching for restaurants in Olney to meet some friends halfway who were travelling from Ellicott City. Having lived in Belgium, I was looking forward to sampling the beer menu. Overall, the experience was what I had remembered and was enjoyable. Our friends, who were eating there for the first time also enjoyed it. The food was very good and a good value. The room is small and loud so be prepared for that. A solid Belgian beer menu but they were out of my favorite one. Biggest negative was service, which was slow, although the wait staff was friendly. Give it for stars for the food and European "feel." This is a place I'll revisit, not as a regular destination, but once a year or so for a special occasion or for when I get that urge for a Euro experience and don't want to deal with the headache of going to D.C.

It was a Monday night so not busy. Therefore, sound level and service can't really be assessed. But we loved it. The food was excellent. The waitstaff was attentive. The price was very reasonable. I'd go again without hesitation.

We always have a great meal and terrific service here. We usually get the kilo of mussels and I try a different one on our visits and they are always delicious and a great value. I love trying the different beers
If you like all different types of mussels this is the place. The food is delectable. The salads are amazing. This is a great place for foodies.Vegetarian options: A vegetarian can definitely eat good food here. Maybe not a vegan however.

Very healthy place all around. Creates joy and comfort. Very soothing fine dining. Very skilled experts. I recommend trying the dine in service. The wait staff are perfect.
Hi. The evening was new years, and the poor restaurant was overwhelmed. We were seated and given menus and then the menus were collected and we waited and waited to give our order. Finally, we ran someone down. The table next to us got their entrees before their appetizer. But we have loyalty to the restaurant so we will be back.

Food was great as usual, but there were some disappointing changes. The lighting used to be subdued and warm, but now is brightly lit which ruined the smbiance. Also, there were no longer any table cloths, just cold, marble tabletops, which gave the place a cheaper cafeteria-like feel. The noise level was also greater. Please bring back the old ambiance.

The mussel pots are so good! I gave four stars for the food because the mussels my husband ordered this time were the same he ordered last time but they didn't have as much flavor for some reason, but overall the places really good.
