We just had an incredibly disappointing experience at Ruddy Duck. I have worked in the service industry and can sympathize with staff; however, it took 10 minutes for someone to even come to our table for drink orders.When the waitress arrived, she apologized but it took another 15 minutes to get the beer I ordered. Our food was mediocre and the kitchen "over toasted the crab dip." We only ordered appetizers and a kids mac n cheese for our 3yo. Our apps came first and it took at least another 10-15 minutes after that food arrived for the kids meal to come out.Finally, we sat and waited for someone to check back with us and ended up having to hunt our waitress down by the bar to pay. The restaurant was not crowded and no one communicated if there was a staff shortage or cook issue. I would be more understanding if the staff was experiencing issues for them to be forthcoming about it. I hope they receive better training in the future.

This place used to be pretty decent food wise, always a little over priced, but decent. The last meal I had there though, was one of the most tasteless and poorly prepared meals I have ever had out. I will not go back here nor will I recommend anyone else to try it.

I think it is ridiculous that I was charged $2 more for a side Greek salad. How was the lettuce in the Greek salad any different. This restaurant is way too expensive for what you get.

Atmosphere: Came right after opening 1630 on a Wednesday. It was initially quiet and picked up quickly.Food: got wings and the table got pizzas with various toppings, crab dip, spring rolls, bisque, and salad. Everything came as preferred and was hot and tasted great. One note on the wings: sometimes the larger ones aren't cooked all the way at the bone part.Service: great. Coming early meant the server was very attentive. They were friendly and fast.Overall great visit.

Went here Saturday evening.Food was mixed as some of my friends thought the Mac and cheese was incredibly bland but I had a decent meatloaf and my spouse thought the fish and chips was okay.Service was just not great. Our waiter took about nearly 10 min to get our drink orders, another 10 minutes to get them, and then finally got our order about 10 minutes after that. We then waited another 15 minutes to get our food. So since being seated by the male host, we finally started eating 45 minutes into service. After that, our waiter disappeared and never came back with the check. After waiting another 20 minutes, we hunted down another person who turned out to be the manager and finally got our check.I should have just cooked at home and avoided eating here if I knew service was that bad. It would have save me money and time for everyone.This will probably be the last time coming here.

The empanadas are absolutely delicious! The best I’ve ever had!
Beer was great. Service could use some work. Maybe not throw my CC, didn't appreciate that. Felt like it took 10 minutes to get my flight. Yes y'all had people but it wasn't super busy. Asked the server for a sticker and she seemed annoyed and told me to go up front.

I thought the atmosphere was nice, fun artwork and canoes hanging around the spot. Beer was alright, had some that were tasty and some that didn't really wet my whistle. Service here could of been better, didn't think it was all that busy, but it took a while to get anything here. I would come back here again just to give them another chance.

So incredibly grateful for this restaurant and staff!! My husband is in the military on TDY orders and it is his Birthday today. I called up the restaurant and asked if they could do a little birthday celebration for him. They went above and beyond!! Thank you to the staff, y’all really made his night. Awful service. We placed our order all at once, very clear and concise - appetizers, drinks, and meals…. Then we didn’t see any wait staff for about 40 mins. Meals came out first without any silverware, appetizers seemed forgotten, by the time we were nearly done our meals the appetizers came and by then we were ready for takeout boxes and the check. The staff acted very swamped (maybe under staffed?) but the restaurant was hardly full, the section we were in had maybe 3 other tables filled. Food was good but I wouldn’t recommend due to the terrible service we had.
