After Ushering at church, I don't want to cook. I want to go to Silvestre Chicken #1 and watch the game IN THE STORE while I CRUSH my dinner. They have a plug on the wall...ummm hummm

Silvestre used to be the BOMB when it was located on the other side of Silver Hill Road. This location offers more seating but the service is whack. My food was whack. Ordered two nachos and the tortilla chips were burnt with minimal cheese, plus sour cream was a extra $1.00 charge. They even said they didn't have queso when we tried to purchase one on the side (this was after we received our food). We purchased 2 complimentary packs of the chicken sauce (which should have been free) and that wasn't enough to spread on the nachos. Certainly not interested in ever returning to this location.

In a previous comment someone mentioned how they ignore certain people especially if you dont look like them....believe it!

I’m not sure if only a certain gender of individual is encouraged to purchase food from this establishment,but I am not of that ethnicity so I generally get ignored when standing directly in front of the cashier……I was even able to write a review uninterrupted I’m sorry this is some of the poorest customer service I’ve yet encountered.

Waited 35 mins for a 1/2 chicken rice beans and greens to be told I would have to wait another 15-20 mins for the chicken to be done. Why wasn’t this told when the order was placed you all had to know you were running low. I saw some in the case when I ordered it’s understandable if it ran out.. However, all the customers who placed an order and let them know. I haven’t eating all day and when I questioned the staff he says other people are waiting & Is that suppose to be acceptable to be me? Chicken should be cooking & in rotation at all times it is a “Chicken” place.

This is by far the worst Sylvester’s location in the area. On August 18 around 8 PM, we placed an order and my friend picked it up, I then discovered the order was completely wrong. We tried calling back before closing, but no one answered the phone.
On Thursday, August 21, I went back to this location to hopefully be accommodated for their mistake and to at least receive decent customer service. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Even though I provided details such as the card used, order number, and pickup time, I was told by Christian, the supervisor, that without a physical receipt, I could not be accomodated even if it was their fault I received the wrong order. My meal was only $10 and the lack of customer service display how they truly feel about their customers-It’s the principal.This response was extremely disappointing, especially since the mistake was on their end and not mine.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Sylvester’s for almost 15 years, and I now go to the Indian Highway or Saint Barnabas Road locations where the food and service are consistently better. This location, however, failed in both areas. The fajita we ordered was poorly prepared—the peppers were were hard and some were soggy , and the only redeeming part was the shrimp, which was seasoned properly.
Overall, this experience showed both poor food quality and a complete lack of customer care. I cannot recommend this location, and I am very disappointed with how the situation was handled.

So this is the first place that i have been to, where I ask for quarter white, and i get half of that quarter. Seriously, why do you serve this with half of the breast missing, are times that tough? What do you do with the other half that I should be getting? And yeah, also dey like others have said. This is a one and done for me. Stick with Sardis for better quality.

07/20/2025-First time customer, no long line, nice professional staff, ordered the (1) Chicken Family Meal with three sides: fresh salad, string beans, fried plantains, and a beverage! Delicious! Yum! Yummy! Good and hot! All under $33.00. Ample parking front and rear! Nice interior! Nice Latin jazz music! A great place to eat!
