I was looking for a pizza joint for dine in. Not this place. But I ordered me a pizza. I travel the country for work. I just finished a trip from Milwaukee, wi to San Diego, CA. Then came to Bangor from there. After not eating real food for a few days (6), it was time to try a new pizza joint. I got a pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, garlic pizza. It was decent. It's the only pizza I've had in this area, so I can't compare it to local. But on the scale I can compare it to, it's a little above average. It's not like Pizzeria Uno in chicago, where I will drive for 2 hrs for pizza and go back home. It's also not like 5 star pizza in Michigan, where I won't step foot back in the that place again. This pizza is at least worth the try. I also got the godfather sandwich, but that's for a little later.

Disgusting, mushy pizza. Honestly. The worst I've ever had! I recently moved back to Maine after living here for 51 years. Never had it. Everyone said it's a must try. It's NASTY!!! Soggy. Floppy. Just plain gross pizza. Please close and go away so that no one ever has to east that vomit worthy mess again. Please. Have some decency. Tri City and Pats have the publics back. Even a nasty Tony's frozen is better.

The pizza is fine. I can make pizza just a good at home though. As it happens I should have made it at home because it wouldn't have cost me so much. I ordered 3 medium one topping pizzas. I was, mistakenly, under the impression their prices were on par with dominoes $7 pizzas. I was wrong. It cost $45 for those 3 pizzas. Four years ago a medium pizza was bigger than what I received and cost much less. I WILL NOT be ordering from Gambino again.

Fast, fresh, and delicious! Pizza had an amazing crust, and we loved the Italian sub (get extra pickles they are amazing) Definitely stopping back next time we are in the area.

The food here is good, solidly good, every time. The service is surprisingly good for a small take-out pizza joint. I'm impressed that my husband and I can still have a decent meal for just about twenty bucks. In this day and age, after the prices have sky-rocketed everywhere, getting a good meal for two for $20 is not easy to do.Keep up the good work!

So I gave it 3 stars for service for a couple of reasons. I ordered a small meatball sub and got a large instead. I wanted it toasted and it was maybe warmed but not toasted, and I don't think a small sub and soda and a bag of chips should cost $15. I ate better a Ruby's for 5 dollars more.

I have been ordering gambinos since i was a child growing up in the treet streets of Bangor. I recently moved to state street and am there twice a week. The servce is always great, prompt,friendly, accurate...its not the employees at all that earned this low rating. Its the pizza! For the first time ever...it sucks! There is virtually no flavor. The crust and the sauce is so bland. I even questioned if maybe i had covid and my sense of taste was gone. But two other people confirmed the problem. What is going on? Is the recipe noy being followed? There is no garlic or herbs ANYWHERE on that pizza. Im so dissapointed!
