Utterly fell in love with this cute and cozy café!! Very welcoming and cozy atmosphere, with delicious food served by absolutely lovely people, what else could we ask for? ❤️

First thing you notice is this place doesn't smell like coffee, it smells like rubber mats or something similarly unpleasant. Ordered two simple drinks (a cappuccino and an Americano) and it took 32 mins to get the drinks. The place was pretty full, but not packed, and the wait was ridiculous. Avoid it if you don't have 30+ mins to wait around. The coffee itself was decent which is why this is 2 stars.

Great atmosphere (beautifully decorated interior), friendly staff. Only negatives were sticky table varnish (water and vinegar helps, and varnish-friendly cleaner) and some ripped seat cushions - but overall a nice spot to grab a lunch and drink. Will definitely visit again!

The coffee was fantastic. The baked goods were as bad as the coffee was good. The scones were just a biscuit. Not even close to a scone. The sticky bun tasted like it just came from a freezer.

It is also one of those places that is trying just too hard to be an artsy coffee house. No idea how it is this highly rated.

Food was very good, but took over an hour to come out. In the mean time no word about status of the order or why it took so long. Front of house staff were working very hard, but seems like there is a management issue in the kitchen.

Food was decent (good corned beef hash) but we came at a busy time and it took over an hour to get service (was told 30 minutes). Both our coffee and food orders were either incorrect or missing something. Probably not a bad spot when it’s not slammed.

This might be the best coffee house in Bangor, and I really wish we had something similar in the Old Town area, as every town needs a high quality, cozy atmosphere coffee house like this. The food is outstanding, the coffee is as high quality as any of the great coffee houses I used to frequent when I lived in Seattle, the Matcha latte is simply the best in the entire greater Bangor region, and the people are delightful and very sweet. If I had a complaint, it'd be a shallow one, but I wish great coffee houses like this weren't so expensive, but that's more just a comment on the culture rather than this coffee house in particular.

To summarize, if you're looking for a real artisan coffee house, not just another chain or franchise, this is probably your best bet for this region, as the only thing comparable is about two hours south, and that fact truly saddens me.
