Exactly what you’re looking for in a hometown Mexican restaurant. The portions on the lunch menu are perfect!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Everyone has a bad night right?? I gave this a second shot. It's horrible. Nothing tastes authentic. You would get better tasting food out of a box and a can.

Food seems very hit and miss. I've had the Steak Palapas in here twice. The first time, it was amazing, literally the best steak I've ever had. The second time it was extremely disappointing. Steak and especially the shrimp were overcooked, and I've never had a piece of steak with so much gristle. Same thing with burrito bowls, sometimes they're great, otherwise they're just kinda okay.

10 out of 10 would not recommend based solely on the lack of customer service. I've never left any negative reviews anywhere. I felt ignored and entirely disrespected. This should be disappointing to your staff because I always leave a 💯 tip. It's a total shame.
Restaurantji Recommends
The food was decent and the portions reasonable. While the flavors were good, nothing really jumped out at me as amazing. This does not mean I wouldn’t recommend it, only that it wasn’t a “wow” meal so much as a safe one.
The waiter was both patient and attentive. He saw to our orders and returned when we were ready. He was neither talkative nor social. There is an art to waiting tables and friendliness just wasn’t in his wheelhouse.
The restaurant was clean and presentable. But like the menu as well the waiter it wasn’t bold. A great place for a big family event.

I was nervous bc the parking lot was near empty when I arrived, but I am glad I took a chance. Fresh salsa, perfectly cooked carnitas, and large selection of jaritos. The waitress was even patient as I fumbled through ordering in Spanish, because I am out of practice. Fast and friendly service.

Great fairly traditional Mexican food with friendly and efficient service. We were seated promptly, and although it was busy, we ordered and received our food in good time. The chicken fajitas were fantastic. Rice was good, too.
