Very tasty pastries and a nice varietyFriendly staff
We just stopped in for a coffee and quick snack. Everything was great, and the service was beyond friendly. We really enjoyed this spot
What a great find! A group of 7 of us (multigenerational family members) had a wonderful brunch that included breakfast tacos, egg dishes, bacon, muffins and cinnamon rolls. Everyone was very happy. The space itself is a charming and creatively decorated former home on the Main Street with a pretty flower garden out front. The service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended
Great job
We were visiting Damariscotta for several days in late October and found the espresso drinks and excellent baked goods at this cafe. Very friendly spot, people come in to catch up on the local news. My husband was partial to the croissants here, I fell in love with the cinnamon buns, and they also have sandwiches that sound good but we didn't have a chance to try them. There is limited seating - you can't count on getting a table, but we usually were lucky. The bookstore there is also particularly nice.
Best croissants ever! A must-stop for them. Good selection of other bakery items and coffee options. Unfriendly lady took our order.
We were absolutely thrilled with all the delicious treats that the Barn Door Baking Kitchen made for our baby shower… Special “Where the wild things are” cookies and cupcakes. The two quiches were also extraordinary. I highly recommend their talents for any occasion. They were so wonderful to work with.
Delicious oat milk latte, and the pumpkin chocolate bread was amazing. The coffee shop is connected to a bookstore, and you’ll feel right at home. Wifi available too.
The best café in Maine! wonderful food and drinks and it's so nice it's attached to the book shop!
Wow! what an unexpected gem of a place we stumbled upon while we were passing by this town and were in need of coffee. It is cute place open space. The cool part is that it’s connected to Sherman’s Bookstore which is filled with not only books, but stationary and a few children’s toys as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had some cappuccino and it was good. They have a nice variety of pastries and cakes as well as sandwiches & toasts. The croissant was phenomenal, it was buttery, flaky, perfect size for sharing and honestly just melted in our mouths. I am salivating just thinking about it! Even the Breakfast biscuits were out of this world delicious! Cannot wait to go back!!! And the prices were reasonable too.

Great, solid baked good options. Could have had a few more chocolate options, but overall a good variety. I don't recall there being music, but would have been a nice touch, and also if they had later hours!

I had a perfectly decent cinnamon roll and iced decaf latte from here today. Seating was kinda bleak but I guess it’s meant to be a takeaway place primarily :)
Great products and lovely coffee. , and love the recently added breakfast sandwiches Also think it’s awesome two local girls are able to stay local and be successful
