Traveling in north Maine for work. Was not expecting to find much, been basically living off of subway veggie patty sandwiches. The veggie stir fry here is vegan without substituting anything, and you can add tofu. The tofu is actually fried and not just thrown in raw! Don’t compare it to stir fry from an Asian restaurant, but still very good. Definitely THE spot for vegans to visit if in Fort Kent.
10/10, hope to see this place stay open for a long while :)
1 greeter/waitress. She did the best she could with our party of 9. Most of the orders were wrong. 1/4 burgers were all burned. The fries were tasteless string fries.
Very cozy little restaurant. Staff was friendly and manager/owner came and chatted with us. Food was amazing-both Mac and cheese and Ruben. Drink was mixed perfectly. Definitely will go back next time I am in town. I would highly recommend you give this restaurant a try if you are in the area.

I’ve never had an issue when it comes to service. The staff is always amazing. The atmosphere is impeccable. The drinks are great, but when it comes to food it’s always a miss. I’ve given Sami’s several chances but it’s always the same. The food is always ungodly greasy or burnt.

Love the drunken noodles and pad thai. Boom boom shrimp is awesome. plus best fresh French fries.

Tried the Drunken Noodles at the Madawaska location and was pleasantly surprised! Tasted great and a generous portion. I am looking forward to trying the pad thai!
Been here a few times before but tonight’s visit was great! Our waitress, Brenda, was super awesome and the food was great! Visits like this will keep us coming back!

We waited over an hour and a half to receive our food and two Thai teas. The food came to us cold with the order mixed up. The Asian dinner with the peanut sauce was given to me and the other Asian meal was given to my daughter with the waitress saying that is correct. Well, our daughter’s had peanuts in, (Thank God I was not allergic to peanuts) so we switched but my dinner was absolutely inedible. What a waste of $107.00. My husband’s fish sandwich was cold, sent back and reheated but not good and afterwards he got really sick. Horrible service and food!

Sami’s is absolutely incredible. Great atmosphere, great food, and such a big heart. Every time we go out with our family she is always so accommodating and the staff have even taken our 1 year old daughter so we could eat. Service and food is amazing. Also what she did for the kids and closing down her restaurant on Halloween and inviting the public in for free pizza, candy, drinks, and of course a dance party for them was absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work.
