Oyster selection was great. Prices are pretty high, portions small. Chicken burger came with no fries or even chips. Very small cup of clam chowder was $16. Go for the Oysters only. Back to Highrolller next time.

This restaurant was amazing! From the service to the oysters to the brussel sprouts (yum!) to the gluten free, dairy free brownie. We went here on a recommendation from a local and we were incredibly impressed.

Exceptional lunch! Had the beautifully flavorful brown butter lobster roll, the special smoked smelt smørrebrød, and a whoopie pie. Everything was delicious and well-made. The smørrebrød tasted spot on to versions I’ve had in Copenhagen, it was a serious treat.

This should be listed as $$& and not $$, as plates are small/tapas style. Food quality is very high, and prices accordingly. Was disappointed to walk into a mostly empty place as just one person and given the worst seating in the house -- a 6" ledge jammed against the wall, even though much nicer seatings were available and without demand.

This place was highly recommended for their lobster rolls and oysters. It ranked in the top 3 when I did my search and checked with locals for lobster rolls. Lobster roll was delicious. It's different to other places in that it uses a brown butter sauce; my favorite part was the bun actually but my favorite thing was absolutely the oysters for this place!! They were so good I forgot about the lobster roll. I wish I took picks because it was definitely photo worthy but we ate it too fast! The BEST OYSTERS (raw) I have ever had in my life. I think I am ruined for all other places now :-) They serve their oyster toppings/condiments pure or iced. Iced was a new thing for me. Amazing! My favorite was the iced pickled red onion, iced Tabasco (I forgot what it was actually called) paired with fresh horse radish and cocktail sauce. All sauces were made fresh in house. The oysters come with a unique cracker, not the typical saltines. This place is a MUST STOP for oysters. for lobster rolls it's good but, I preferred Bite Into Maine hands down, tho both are good. The lobster stew also delicious!! The oysters just blew me away tho. Casual attire is acceptable. Family friendly. As a tourist, ask for Montana (blue hair) as your server. She was super helpful, accommodating and cheerful. She made our meal.

A really cozy berth if you’re looking for quality Maine oysters while mooring in Portland. The clam bake is a must try experience. The cocktail bar and old wine selection shaped by their bar and wine assistant managers is adequate for the cuisine’s curated menu. The quality of the product reaching your table is only surpassed by their excellent customer service. Thank you Laura! Kudos to Andrew, Arlin and team for assembling their au courant oyster shop model.

Crammed, music is too loud, food was below average. The crab claws were not fresh as they tasted and chewed like rubber. Soup was drenched with oils. On top of that they charge 5% on the bill.

This place is fun! They have the best selection of clams, oysters, and mussels. You can pick shellfish from specific estuaries. The staff is incredibly helpful and informative. The entire experience is very enjoyable. They also have a delicious lobster roll. That is unique in comparison to everyone else in the state. It's a bit expensive, but still worth it just to try once.

This is our last meal in Portland before we leave and I'm so glad. Because the mussels and lobster is so awesome! I could sit here and eat more but my stomach wouldn't let me. I had the Brown Butter lobster roll. Maine lobster stew which consists oh coconut, green curry with chunks of lobster and other seafood with saltines. So delicious and fresh. I definitely recommend!!

Good lobster rolls and oysters. Lobster roll bun is very nice, but it is on the smaller end. Overall my favorite lobster roll in town. Sometimes can be long waits to get seated.

Staff were very direct and borderline rude. We didn’t feel welcomed. Food is good but I wouldn’t recommend it to friends.
