I was shocked and disappointed about my final order.I cannot comment on the quality of this order because It has not been cooked and eaten. It did arrive frozen and properly packaged.I have previously ordered 5 times before, all containing lobster tails. The quality and taste was exceptional, as was the total experience including the packaging and condition of the contents.Every advertisement specifically states the shipping is direct from Maine, and indicates it is flash frozen and hints that it is freshly caught from Maine water's. The last order originated in Cleveland, Ohio. The packaging is not marked with a use before date, and there is no indication of how long the seafood had been in Cleveland are how it got there.With all the uncertainty I shall not buy from this company again.Update 1/21/24: I immediately received a very informative email explaining the process for getting their products to customers as fast and efficiently as possible. They ship popular products to warehouses that are closer to the final destination to avoid bottlenecks and delays. They assured me that the products from their satellite warehouses were as fresh as from their Maine warehouses.I accept their explanation and am delighted to continue doing business with this fine company. Sorry for the confusion. I highly recommend this business.

I just received the lobster rolls as a Christmas gift. They far exceeded my expectations. They were wrapped really well absolutely fresh and so delicious. My college roommate sent them to me because she knows how much I love lobster rolls. I did not think they could beat hers, but they were certainly equivalent.. I will order again from get Main lobster. Totally delicious. I never in 1 million years thought I could get a Rhode Island lobster. Roll in upstate New York. Great business idea and you do it well.

I finally ordered from them and received a portion of my order. It took a couple of emails to get a response on my shipment and was going to cancel but received a response finally with shipping information. The reason I'm giving a rating of 4 instead of 2 or 3 is because of Kate and her customer service. She was great in responding and getting me the refund right away on the missing item. The lobster tails I received look good and packaged well. Thank you Kate!

Would rate this company as a "zero" if available. Ordered 4 tails 5-6 oz with a BOGO free - about $175. - for a holiday party. Tails arrived in torn, worn plastic bags, tails were smaller than advertised with discolored centers and looked old. After jumping through hoops for the customer service rep with dates, times and pictures, they finally offered a $25 credit. We have discarded all 8 tails and have a greater appreciation for what this company calls "customer satisfaction". I will be looking for another seafood company - you probably should too - maybe COSTCO.Sambolini

One of the worst customer service experiences that I've had in quite a while. Placed an order with guaranteed overnight, free delivery and didn't get our lobster until nearly 48 hours later. All the ice was melted and even though I shared photos of the melted ice and the late delivery and a screenshot of their guarantee of overnight delivery on their website they would not do anything except for offer a $25 gift certificate to use in their online store. I had to communicate with them 10 or 12 times and am extremely disappointed. We are not sure that the food is fit to eat so are just out all that money we spent. We will never do business with them again. the worst part is that their website is full of claims of their wonderful customer support and 100% buyer satisfaction. That and the guarantee of overnight shipping/next day. delivery is total false advertising.

Contacted customer service about a recent order that I was displeased with; followed all instructions for storing, preparing etc and the lobster tails were extremely fishy and non edible. Via the chat conversation with customer service I was told ‘the best we can do is send you a coupon for a future order’. I received a coupon for $15. Sent a follow up email expressing my displeasure with the offer and did not receive a reply.They do not stand by their product. Told them to void my $15 coupon. Will not order again.Found another option that guarantees their product: All Fresh Seafood

First time ordering from GML. Always a bit hesitant that our expectations will be met.I placed an order for 16 lobsters but had to increase to 20 for our annual clam bake. Two order numbers...two shipping numbers. I contacted GML on Thursday for a status check to calm my nerves. Within 10 minutes I had a reply. Who does that anymore? Reassured they would be on time. They just arrived and will be ready to cook early tomorrow afternoon. Outstanding customer service, great selection and pricing. Does not get any better than this! Thank you!

Received the lobster roll 4 pack as a gift from my sisters: I'm sure they paid a bundle for it. Everything arrived frozen, as it should. I'm in AZ, but grew up in CT, so I know what good lobster is. After thawing, I'm left with a STINKY mess of -some- claw meat and a lot of mushy pieces. Yummy!!Really? This is what you want to send people as a product???

I give 0 stars!!!Ordered two 8-10 oz lobster tails for my granddaughter's birthday, was told I would receive them the day before and when I hadn't received them yet I called and was told the delivery was delayed due to weather and they sent an email (which I never received!) Weather was fine two days prior to her birthday and they could have sent them on Monday! So long story short my granddaughter won't be having lobster tails on her birthday!!

Ordered the 8X 1.5 lbs and a pound of steamers for Father's Day. Arrived early with the ice packs still frozen. My wife had hers and the free crab leg pieces. Arrived alive and kicking. So meaty and sweet. And plenty of meat for lobster rolls. Felt like I was back in Cape Cod.I found that the brioche buns, split on top and buttery are perfect for the lobster rolls.

Fresh seafood delivered overnight from Portland, ME. Mussels & live Lobster arrived today. We cooked the mussels first for an appetizer. They were so delicious, we only got a pic of the empty shells.
