Very delicious Korean small plates, cool drink menu and awesome service. More of a western upscale flare so it’s great for a fun dinner. Loved the Jumoksap rice dish. Perfectly crispy and flavorful and the egg was cooked to perfection.

Not an enjoyable experience. We ordered the SAFTB($200)which was described as enough to feed 6. It wasn't that generous, probably enough to feed 4 but only a meat portion. The vegetable medley which came with the meal was the most shocking and was probably $1's worth of vegetables, no lie, I took a pic for reference. The side dishes were very small especially for a party of 9. Traditional Korean joints will offer these and refills but not this place. The food also came out in untimely waves, for example the rice came out about 10 minutes after the meat was delivered, and the banchan's were served with dinner, when they are an appetizer. I would not recommend going to the Korean BBQ portion of this restaurant wildly expensive and extremely disappointing.

The food is delicious, but a bit on the pricey side if you're doing the Korean BBQ. It's a crazy good experience. They have a "set" menu and an "a-la-carte" menu for the BBQ menu. They have a bunch of other options if you're wanting great Korean food but don't really feel like going out to eat just to cook it yourself. I went with one of my best friends and we got the "date night" dinner option. I personally think the pork belly is more bacon-like in terms of cut than what I've seen at other Korean BBQ restaurants. There it looks more like strips of bacon and not the more "cube-like" shape that I would normally see at a Korean BBQ place. In my opinion, it's totally worth it if you're looking to change things up a bit for dinner!!! I hope this helps!!! Enjoy!!!

Everything was so yummy. We came for Korean BBQ but there was a wait so recommend making a reservation if you want to do that. Sake was perfect if you like unfiltered and paired perfectly with a draft Kirin. Everything was so yummy!! Bulgogi, KFC boa buns and the spicy cucumbers were our favorites. Not pictured is the dumplings.. highly recommend!! Only thing we weren't a fan of was the jumokbap, wasn't anything exciting compared to the rest.
Pretty much everything we ordered (delivery) was super tasty. Got the following:Pork dumplings: Tasty, lots of gingerFried eggplant: Good sauce, but def greasyYangyum Tofu + Bok Choy: totally flavorless and only 2 tiny pieces of bok choy (tasted like they had just put uncooked and unseasoned tofu in some bland sauce).Jajangmyeon (pork noodles): very tasty and well cooked but pretty one dimensional and not much pork at all. Excellent large portion. Pork Bulgogi with crispy rice: super tasty, but definitely very over salted. And the portion was a JOKE for the price. $27 for not even enough bulgogi to fill the palm of my hand. To me this is totally unacceptable and enough by I prevent us from going here or order again. $90 (not including delivery) for three people to not even feel full = big bummer. I'd recommend one of the many other tasty places close by that fill you up.

Just left this place and I can’t get that time or money back. Host on the first floor was very nice. Host on the second floor was in a foul mood from start to finish. She tag teamed serving our table with another very nice woman.Drinks took 15 minutes. Sides and veggies came out 15-20 minutes prior to the actual food. Appetizers came out after and dinner immediately after. Rice was cold. Lettuce “wraps” were literally torn in half wilted pieces of half white lettuce in a bowl.No amount of money would make this worth it. Wish I could get this time back and my smelly burnt clothes.

Worst experience we have had. Especially for the price! Wagyu is $105 for a couple tiny pieces of meat. It won’t fill you up I promise that. Outrageously expensive and the service was terrible we wish we had the waiter instead of the blonde waitress we didn’t see her smile once. The waiter was tending to every table and had a nice attitude. I really hope the owners look into this and make improvements. Also the ribeye said $28 and we were charged $40 plus tax. This was beyond a disappointment. We went a year ago and got way more for the money. We won’t be coming back, there are better restaurants in Portland for a better price and better service. I’d rather go to a nice steakhouse and spend that kind of money.

Don't waste your time here. They don't want/need your money. If you don't have a reservation or just want to sit at the bar for drinks and there are plenty of empty seats (Friday night) they will turn you away. I have been going to Portland for 13 yrs and have always had a pleasant experience at all the other local restaurants. You can always find a another establishment with great service/food and hospitality a few doors away from this place!
