Horrible staff. I have never been treated so horribly at a bar in my life. Rude bartender, rude bouncers, backwards establishment. Bad music honestly just the worst club to go to in Portland. Would never recommend. Literally just made an account so I could give them a bad review because I’m telling you it was thaaaatt bad...

Last night we were there and didn’t have cash for the cover at the door. We asked if they had an atm inside. He said yes. We asked if we could use it to get cash for the cover. He said no that we have to pay to get in first and that there was an atm up the street. It was not close at all. You think we were going to do that and come back. Of course we didn’t. We went to the club next door and stood in line. They didn’t have a line. But we didn’t care. That was bad customer service and business.

I will never go to pearl again because of how one of the bouncers treated me and my cousins from Australia. My cousin slipped and fell down the steps toward the bathroom because of how wet it was from people spilling their drinks. She hit her knee and back pretty hard. She had been drinking that night but had stopped drinking for the last couple hours and had been drinking a lot of water. Great place to dance and drink. Fun and feels secure and safe for a club. DJ is super nice and will take requests and give shout outs when you ask. Had lots of fun for friends birthday. Bartenders are really nice and make great drinks.

Watch your drinks and watch your friends. Had a friend get attacked because he stepped up and confronted two men that were inappropriately touching two women. They weren’t caught but the two women got away. Find a better place to go. It’s not worth it. This happens every time I have gone there. Not a good crowd anymore unfortunately. Security is great when needed though!

This place is a nightmare. They constantly have ignorant thuggish people forming a wall at the bar that refuse to move after service but instead gawk and blockade the bar from customers getting service when asked the bar tending staff and bounce staff seem to be afraid to move them along. Weak at best and the place constantly has issues with unwanted touching and fights. Will not return

Had a great night at this venue... until the bartenders got in a dispute with a customer. What started as a screaming match turned into a dangerous situation. The asian bartender began throwing things from behind the bar and ended up hitting random people (me being one of them). I have never seen that in any bar or club I have been to. Incredibly unprofessional.
