We are an early dinner here last night and the service and food were phenomenal! My husband had the chicken puttanesca which was incredible. The chicken was able to be cut with a fork and melted in your mouth. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli (handmade pasta) with a hazelnut sauce/butter. Wow. Such unique flavors yet so homey all at once. Definitely a "food HUG" from all this. I'd highly recommend on anyone's trip to Portland if they are wanting something besides seafood.

My husband and I were traveling from Michigan and very hungry! They were able to accommodate moving up our reservation and the service, atmosphere and food was amazing and flavorful! Check this place out, you will be very pleased you did!

We made a reservation to celebrate my birthday. We've been to Ribolitta's many times--no more! What a disappointment! We knew that the menu hadn't changed since we had been going there but now there is hardly anything appealing. No beef, pork, scallops, white fish. The only seafood is a fish stew and a few bits of seafood served with pasta and sauce--nothing I like. An Italian restaurant with no meatballs. Had to settle for chicken saltimbacca with soggy white beans and kale (which I hate). I can eat chicken easily at home--what a disappointment! Nothing to choose from. One of the staff said the menu changed years ago. Funny, we were there last year and we had choices. We will not be returning or recommending it.

So pleased to find a restaurant that serves just the right portion size, without all the gloppy sauce.. This is a small intimate restaurant. Very cozy. Good selection of wines. Excellent service. Loved the handmade pasta. Had the white bean ravioli in brown butter sauce and it was exquisite. Flourless chocolate torte was perfect. Excellent service, too.

We had such a wonderful dinner at Ribollita last night. We were able to sit outside which was great and along with some really tasty salads we had the fish stew, and the most delicious chicken puttanesca with home made pasta. Every mouthful was flavorful and truly a delight- there nothing ordinary about the food- it was fabulous! The restaurant has a laid back charm that allowed us to feel quite comfortable, and we left feeling so happy we had found this great little neighborhood gem.

We ate there to enjoy our birthdays and the food was fabulous. Great service and super desserts. A reasonable price for a very good Italian experience and food.

We were walking past Ribolitta when the smells coming from the restaurant lured us inside. It was a good choice because we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the wine and the ambiance.

Best Gnocchi ever….homemade with fresh prosciutto and garden peas…….I wish I could be there for his other fantastic dishes. A MUST dinner if you are in Portland. Small, intimate…reservations a must. Parking is a huge challenge like most of Portland. I was lucky to find a metered spot on the street across from this Restaurant. Can’t wait to get back there for dinner !!!

F**king incredible. Every bite. Out of this world. Excellent service. Wish there were more stars. Skip the places with 2 hr waits, try this little, intimate, beautiful fare. Does NOT disappoint. And try the tiramisu.

Simply tasteful and exquisite dining experience from start to finish. Flavors are paired excellently with any wine. Definitely will be returning

Last minute decision a pleasant surprise. Small number of tables but enough space to be comfortable and talk. Every aspect of the experience was great. Authentic food, perfectly presented and prepared. Hostess and server were on point. Don’t miss an opportunity to dine at Ribolita. Pan seared gnocchi and white bean ravioli!

We were THE ONLY OCCUPIED table in an empty restaurant at 5:30 pm on a Friday. We wanted to have a drink, then order appetizers, then order dinner. She gave us grief about taking too much of her time because she had a reservation for our table in 2 hours. Needless to say.....after one drink we left her to tend to her empty restaurant.

My wife and I just had dinner here and what a great find. Everything was outstanding, I had the linguine with shell fish and was blown away. the pasta was excellent and the shellfish very fresh. Watching the staff prepare the food you can tell they care about their craft. Small place which helps keep it special.

Don’t waste your time here with so many great restaurants in the area. We made a reservation a week in advance and had to wait 30 minutes upon arrival. The service was extremely slow. Portions were small and the chicken saltimbocca was dry and overcooked, and the gnocchi was not very good
