It is fine dining with a family atmosphere at an affordable price point. Everything was made from scratch, and the waitress told us a lot of the food was locally sourced. Even the bread was fresh baked in house. Its as good or better than the downtown restaurants, but with room to park, and less local traffic. We will be going back, often.

Good food, friendly staff and a nice clean and comfortable place to eat.
The management is a joke, they are more concerned with being on their cell phones at the host stand and gossiping. The complaints about slow service is probably due to the fact that they are very short staffed because the managers do not do a good enough job of training anybody because they are cold and unhelpful, Let me explain for example something that happened that I found to be very disturbing. A child had an accident at a table where they went to the bathroom in their pants, Donnie A manager, didn’t help the brand new server who was handling this emergency by herself. She promptly quit after this experience because how ridiculous is it that a manager can’t be helpful and such a nerve-racking situation when you are a brand new server and you expect a manager to help you and they do absolutely nothing? He doesn’t have children so he can’t possibly understand, and he apparently didn’t care what was going on and it wasn’t handled professionally, actually it just wasn’t handled at all by him. You’d think a manager would try to be helpful in that instance. Catherine, The larger female manager, is a strange woman who scowls all of the time and has a disturbed facial expression constantly. She also dresses very casually for such a fine dining sort of restaurant, and I found her wardrobe decisions to be highly unprofessional And lazy ? I mean, graphic tees from hot topic and ripped jeans isn’t really the way you should present yourself as a manager at a fine dining establishment? She’s very unfriendly and miserable looking. They are under staffed, they cannot keep a staff because they refuse to train properly and expect everyone to know the entire menu in a week. They have a huge turn over rate due to improper management and pure laziness on their ends.
Outstanding service, great food, very reasonable for an upscale place. Great atmosphere, lots of parking, will definitely go back. Servers are attentive and sociable.

2 stars for the atmosphere and the food. it was a very cozy & nice atmosphere. food was okay, not great. i had the ribeye. service was just okay also. the second we sat down our waitress started listing off a bunch of things that were unavailable/they were out of. we were disappointed because we looked up the menu before going and saw some things that we wanted to try but they were out of them , so that was really disappointing. got the spinach dip as an appetizer and that was really good . the ribeye was just okay, not a ton of flavor , but it was cooked good . had high hopes for this place but was kinda let down/disappointed. i know the waitress was doing her best but it took a while for us to get boxes and the bill . she was nice though. probably won’t be back :(

The vibe in this place is unmatchably creepy and abandoned, with just alright service and alright food. Multiple main entree items were not available.

Loved my dining experience at Carson’s Bistro this evening. Fantastic Happy Hour with $6 fabulous wine and $7.99 INCREDIBLE appetizers (order the spinach artichoke dip!). I walked in for a solitary meal in a crappy mood. My server, Gavin, made my experience remarkably pleasant with his warm attentive attitude and kind, yet very professional, tone. Highly recommend!

I’ve gotten both a takeout and a delivery order recently for dinner and they were delicious both times. The grilled salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted great in spite of having to wait until the food could be served at home.

Server was attentive and sweet. They ran out of the baby back ribs which came highly recommended by the waiter. I give him a 4 star rating because he didn’t know this, although this could be the kitchen’s fault for not being more informative.
I am gluten free and they don’t have a separate menu. It would be nice to have. I ordered the Salmon in place of the ribs with the French fries, which don’t seem to bother me except for if they have a coating. I asked if there was a “coating” and was assured that there was not. There was a coating when delivered, I did not eat them.
This is a finer dining price point restaurant, why does it use frozen coated French fries? They should fresh cut potatoes to make the fries to go with their dishes especially when paying $40-$50 for a steak dinner. I’m glad I didn’t order a steak. Baked potatoes were not an option.
I have a problem with restaurants that serve these types of fries without disclosing that they are “coated “ to make them crispy. An establishment like this should have chefs that know how to cook fries.
I wish them well and hope they consider using quality ingredients as implied by the type of restaurant they want to be.
