The Checkers on Warren and Woodward in Detroit, is probably one of the best in the country!!! The service is phenomenal and very friendly ! I have developed quite a rapore with the employees, ( like so many other regular customers) and my orders are usually filled at record speed! Despite the typical somewhat generic design of this Checkers restaurant, it manages to have a very homie feeling to it! And after all it's wonderful to have a restaurant where everybody knows your name!!!...read full review

The only checkers I have ever seen with a sit down eating area. Most only have a drive through or walk up order window. Food was what you would expect from Checkers. Not bad at all. Good service.

Good food for lunchtime. The only thing wrong was homeless people taking advantage of a female. I am glad restaurant staff told the homeless person to leave. Otherwise.. exemplary service. I usually go to the Checkers on 59 and Pontiac Lake by Meijer.
