Heard the food was delicious and the place is black owned. Waited for 30 minutes And still couldn't place an order. I just left. I'll try another time
First time at this place, not greeted nor given any direction where to stand to order carry out. We stood at the counter bar where we could be seen by workers, yet after standing there without being acknowledged, we finally had to yell to a worker that we needed to place an order. The lady said okay then proceeded to ring someone out,, then answered her cell phone & remained distracted at least another 5 minutes before taking my order! The wait to finally get the food was lengthy too so Im glad that the omelet was quite tasty! The following week we went back because I liked the food selection & prices. This time we stood by the bar again to order. Eventually workers made eye contact with us, but didn’t smile, speak or ask if they could help. Ten minutes later my husband told a worker that we need to place order. She said okay but continued to occupy herself. After total of 15 minutes ,my husband & I left and ordered delicious food & received friendly , professional service also, as should be expected! Connie & Barbara’s can cook, but have a lot to learn! Their actions show they don’t value all their customers, therefore we will will no longer be a customer or one that recommends others try this restaurant!
Connie & Barbara's soul food restaurant have been there for decades. They had great food back then, and they still got great food now. I'll be back.
Love the food service is slow workers are rude. Always when you support your own in you areas. Service is poor
They don’t answer the phone and they charge the closing time EVERYDAY.
To late in the day they were sold out of what I wanted to try
The food was so good I had to go back for lunch again today the next day After my 1st day of trying their food Although the place was very busy the ladies were pleasant at the counter
I'm sorry there one person who understands what u want n how u want it. it will be respected cause of that one everyone in this establishment needs to catch on
I bought chicken and waffel...what a let down...the waffel dry and had no flavor...the chicken was as bad...no seasoning...I could have gotten a better breakfast at Bob Evans...very disappointed and I waited an hour for that.
(July 3 2021) The Salmon And Eggs With Rice Was So Good... Excellent Customer Service And Good Vibes... They Made Me Feel Welcomed
Great place for breakfast salmon croquettes bang hit em up
I used to love it here so I decided to bring my husband who wasn’t aware we were standing there for about 3 to 5 minutes no smiles no greetings no menu given just workers arguing and bickering with each other and looking at us crazy so we left and went down to Js Café….CustomerCustomer Service is everything!
The older lady is always nice. The bug gut always checks to make sure you have what you need. The servers if you dine in are friendly and attentive. I love this diner. It really is a gem. The food is delicious and taste like you cooked it with love right in your own kitchen. Does it get any better? As usual, I’ll be back to visit. This is a highly recommended breakfast, brunch, or lunch spot.
Disappointed, mac&cheese tasted sour oddly and my order was wrong. Wasted 30+ dollars.
