As of July, 6, 2023 they are still not open. Pretty disappointing when you drive 20 minutes across town. Don’t believe the hype on Facebook or their updated hours on google. This place is as deserted as it’s been for years.

Please open again soon with same donut recipes. I’m so craving a Dutch Girl plain cake donut or a chocolate topped plain cake donut. Since you’ve been closed, I keep trying other places and I’m just not satisfied. Miss you soooo much. Dutch Girl we’re the only donuts I had eaten for at least 40 years!
A once local great mom and pop shop reduced to hiring the average locals. Rude, entitled, can't be bothered to do even the bare minimum but expect everything in return for their disgusting behavior. Not surprising considering every company has quotas to hire such people now.Now look where they are? Closed " temporarily " because such employees can't even be bothered to work.This place will likely never be back to its former glory, and is absolutely not worth your time with the sort they've employed as of late as they are absolutely the type to mess with the food just for kicks.

I miss this place and I hope that they resume business soon. I remember driving the bus (as well as my own personal vehicle) in the dead of night getting the freshest donuts and cookies. Memories indeed.

the best donuts in the city of Detroit! this place is the only place that carry the punch keys that I like that's the cream filling! I was so sad when I heard that they were going to be closing. if this place continue to stay open I will continue to support it and I will continue to recommend people to come here
