Takoi impressed with swift, friendly service and great drinks. Despite our short visit, it's a spot worth revisiting.

Best Thai meal at a restaurant I’ve had. Sensational. This place is worth the drive. I see a lot of reviews about small plates. That’s probably if you do the taste testing option. My daughter and I each ordered our own meal and the proportions were large enough to bring leftovers home. The flavors are incredible. They are deep and layered, and have the perfect spice. My daughter had the Jungle Mussels. The broth could be a meal on its own with the garlic toast to dip in it. The chicken curry (KHAO SOI ) was also the most flavorful version I’ve had. My only pause was the whole drumstick. I would have preferred smaller pieces in the broth than picking apart the chicken off the bone. The Coconut pan cake appetizer was fun and different. So delicious. My daughter had the non-alcoholic blackberry and cardamom tea. I had the Special Thai tea with rum. Both were delicious and complimented the meal well.My daughter was treated with a desert of coconut ice cream with a crumble topping and sauce. Was so good, no other ice cream desert could compare. The service was attentive and had a menu prepared for us to indicate the allergens we needed to avoid. The atmosphere was laid back and casual and tastefully decorated in a fun, modern and crisp way. Can’t wait to go back.

The only restaurant that I truly enjoy in Michigan. yes, I said the entire state of Michigan'. I would put the flavors, the craft cocktails and the service against any five star restaurant. I have tried everything that's not beef or pork on the menu.. because I just don't eat it, the damn Red Snapper would make you wanna kiss you're mama and every damn person in your family.. needless to say they took it off the menu and replaced it with a steamed fish that was damn near raw when it got to my table.. I'm so damn disappointed.. don't fix it if it's not broken!!!! Said customer. Thank goodness they didn't take off the coconut apps.. those are slamming too.. chef please bring back the Fried Red Snapper..

Fantastic experience! The food is AMAZING. Every single dish we had was bursting with perfectly balanced flavors. The mix of textures, colors, and ingredients in every dish made our meal a beautifully curated culinary delight from start to end. Every dish was incredible, so it’s hard to pick favorites, but the pepper tofu, cabbage, and ice cream dessert were my personal favorites. I’d return for any of those in a heartbeat. Probably the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. As a vegan, I’d highly recommend a meal here. It’s worth going out of your way for.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Clearly labeled. The staff is very familiar.

Lots of meat-free options. Great atmosphere. Stumbled on this place by mistake a few years back and have been coming back from time to time since. Great for date nights!

The drinks were good and the ribs. Kinda loud inside. So probably not a good first date place.

Worst Thai food I’ve had. Nothing we ordered was good. Green curry was too sweet. I asked for no raisins and got raisins. The fried chicken was ok. The fish was above average but not amazing. Very disappointed by the experience. Our server never asked us how everything was. She probably knew.

This might be one of my favorite dining experiences I've had in a very long time. While unassuming from the outside, the ambiance inside is very vibey. I highly recommend you make a reservation, especially on a weekend for dinner. We had a reservation and still had about a 30 minute wait due to the table ahead running over. We chose the vegetarian tasting menu and it included 5 courses. They even threw in a couple extra courses due to our wait, which was very appreciated and a nice gesture. Even without the extra courses, this tasting menu exceeds expectations. Portions were large and there was plenty to take home. Service was good and we had a few different people bring the courses through the night and each person was friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes being served. There are many vegan and vegetarian options on the menu for regular ordering and I cannot wait to come back to try more.
