Hands down the best filet mignon we've ever had! And we've eaten a lot of steak in our years. The service was exceptional and the wait staff all professional and friendly. We even got to hear an awesome rendition of Happy Birthday by one of the wait staff to a guest in Polish! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed being there. Nice vibe. Entrees were over-sauced and not very flavorful. Very nice service.

We absolutely love this restaurant. My wife has celiac and they are always accommodating and have their menu clearly marked and they separate food very well. The food is absolutely delicious. Is the price a bit high, sure but I have yet to be disappointed and it's worth it every single time.

We had a nice casual dinner with friends. Service was good, atmosphere (outside on patio) was refreshing and pleasant. Calamari was presented well, but rubbery. Deserts were very good

Our server Jeremy was so great. We had a lovely anniversary celebration on the patio. Jeremy shared the managers special for bottles of wine with us, which saved us money and we found a white blend that we really enjoyed. Perfect summer dining experience, thank you!

** A Must-Visit in Fenton **

Ciao Fenton Italian Bistro & Wine is absolutely outstanding. From the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the top-notch service, everything about this place makes you want to come back. The staff is friendly, professional, and truly goes the extra mile to make you feel at home.

We started with a few appetizers that were delicious and beautifully presented — a great start to the evening. The steak was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of rich flavor. The pasta dishes were also amazing, with fresh ingredients and authentic sauces. Every bite felt like a taste of Italy. The wine list is well-curated and paired perfectly with our meal.

We had such a great experience, I just booked my fiancée’s bridal shower here! I know it’s going to be just as incredible, and I’m so thankful to the Ciao team for helping make it special.

Ciao Bistro is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the area. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and authentically Italian without being overdone. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food.

We started with the calamari perfectly done and full of flavor. For the main course, I had the chicken marsala while my wife ordered the chicken diablo —both were phenomenal. You can tell everything is made fresh, with high-quality ingredients and attention to detail. The wine list is impressive, and the staff gave excellent pairing recommendations.

To top it all off, we shared the tiramisu for dessert—and it was divine. Light, creamy, and the perfect end to the meal.

Whether you’re looking for a romantic night out, a family dinner, or a place to celebrate something special, Ciao delivers on all fronts. We’ll definitely be coming back—this place is a must-visit in Fenton!

An amazing atmosphere and very welcoming staff. The food is also great. Our group of 4 really enjoyed the appetizers and cocktails. The entrees were very filling and delicious! They were also very accommodating to one of our friends who was gluten free! Try the chicken Diablo or chicken piccata next time you go! 10/10 experience

Usually fast convenient service tonight I felt hostage. No check backs from our waitress in the patio, everyone around us was complaining of the same thing w no good explanation. Was really looking forward to dinner but after waiting so long for our waitress to come back we changed our minds and went else where.

Max the waiter was great. Would go back again just to have him wait on you. Had a drink, and it was great Our main dishes were just so so no big deal

One Star – Ciao Italiano (Fenton, MI)
What a romantic way to spend our 20th anniversary — seated promptly at 4:26 PM... right next to the busser station. Because nothing says “special occasion” like the sound of clanking dishes and mop buckets.

The restaurant was nearly empty — which made it all the more impressive that not a single waiter or waitress could muster the energy to acknowledge us. We were given water and told someone would “be right with us.” That must be Ciao-speak for “good luck.”

For the next 20 minutes, we became ghosts. Staff walked by us over and over again, eyes glued to anything but the two humans sitting there clearly wondering if we’d become invisible.

After two decades of marriage, we didn’t expect fireworks — but we did expect basic service. Instead, we walked out and walked to Andiamo. There, we were seated, sipping wine, and enjoying salads within 10 minutes of leaving Ciao.

Ciao looks the part of an upscale restaurant, but the service was a masterclass in how to make guests feel unwelcome.
Andiamo although we've been before was great we wanted to try something new.
