The quality of food has gone down a lot. We sent back the side of mac n cheese, they were burnt, not creamy and no real flavor. We were told since they were frozen it would possibly turn out burnt again. Frozen? Maybe you should change the way you do things. Make fresh. Not many appetizers to choose from. Nothing memorable. Won’t be back. Staff was friendly though.
My wife bought home take out from fenton firehall tonight the total was $95.00 and wasn't nearly enough food for 2 people. The ribs were supposed to be a half rack for $23 and wasn't even a 1/4 rack. The brisket was $21 and wasn't even 6oz of meat. I'll never eat here again and never refer anyone to eat here. Stay away.
Good food

If I’m going to pay more for smaller portions, then at least hire some more friendly staff ??
This is a must stop for anyone visiting the area. The staff is always friendly and quick to serve. The building is an old firehouse and has a great design to it. The food and drinks are wonderful.

Love this place you can't get a better Mac and Cheese anywhere. If they had the lobster mac here it would be unreal. But still never left here hungry or disappointed.

Had a horrible experience not because of the food or staff but neglect due to the Sewer smell coming from the bathrooms which I understand is an ongoing situation. I reached out to one of the owners of Union Joints (Erich Lines) about our experience and waited 2 weeks for a response which he did not give until I responded again saying that I wasn't surprised he didn't write back to that he responded but not with an apology or what he could do to help the situation.
I love the Fire Hall and its long term employees. It's a shame the way it's gone downhill all because of corrupt ownership ( they don't want to put money into the Fire Hall but build their own home)
Thankful for the hardworking staff that wants to keep it running..

Our go-to bar for a decent hand-held and a drink. The spicy mayo they serve with fries is great and their seasonal cocktails are fantastic.

We used to love this place. The last time we went, however, the nicest word to describe our food is "forgettable." Same with the service. I couldn't even get a refill on my coffee. We saw the waitress walking around, but she never came back to check on us. We thought our booth was nice until we discovered how uncomfortable it was and saw it had duct tape all over it, which wound up snagging my skirt. Not a good experience overall.

I would not recommend. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there were 5 tables on the first floor. The server didn't come even after 10 minutes of us sitting down and we finally called her over to order. It's important to clear the tables that people left but it's also important to welcome new customers. It took 30 minutes to get the food and I had a good memory of visiting again after a long time but the food was absolutely horrible and the rude server left me with a bad impression. I will not visit again..

This place went downhill fast.
3 years ago it was a local hot spot.
Now, it's the place you want to go if you want cold, stale food, slow careless service, dirty sour beer from taps that haven't been cleaned since JFK was in office, bathrooms that are worse than a truck stop, and a staff that couldn't care less.
Really sad for what could be a cool spot.
If you're reading positive reviews, check the date, they're older than the leftovers served to the tables.

Okay service, but terrible food. Menu was down sized and nothing was smoked and food over priced. The booth we sat in was gross. The seat was split and needs to be fixed. This place used to be amazing, but unfortunately it is not now. We won't be coming back in the future.

I think the food was fine, no complaints there. Having said that, the water tastes horrid, and there's nothing other than coke products if you want something other than beer or booze. You'd think they'd perhaps spend a few bucks on filtration to remove the poor taste of the city supply. Perhaps a minor quibble, but it's the things you observe first that make an impression. Also, we visited early in the day, and both bathrooms (main level, didn't go downstairs) reeked badly, so that's a reflection on management. There's no excuse for a reputable eating establishment starting the business day without a clean environment. If the restrooms start this way, I was wondering about the kitchen, etc. This should be their top priority, then service (which was fine), and food (again, fine).

Great place, fun atmosphere! We sat at the rooftop bar, and our bartender Brittany was awesome! Margaritas on draft, and she made us each one of their signature drinks that were really good too. We will definitely be back!
