This is a mixed review because they have two locations. The location on Forest Hill Ave I absolutely love. I deliver food, and that is how I found them delivering food. As a vegan, I look for restaurants that have something different to offer. The customer service at this location was amazing. I even got to meet the owners and she walked me through her menu and gave me recommendations on their vegan options. I've been getting at least one salad a week from them, because of that experience and the quality of food. The other location is in the Downtown Market. I've been to this location 6 times. All 6 times was a disappointment. I understand having an off day, but the level of customer service was poor. Every time it was a young female worker. I've only seen two at this location. The way they have it set up, is that you have to go to the end of the counter to order. If the worker is inside they would have to be paying attention and looking to see you standing out of view. I've stood where I was supposed to several times while the worker just stared at their phone. I've had to wave or walk over to the register to get them to look up from their phone. Then when they did, it felt like I was inconveniencing them, like I was in the wrong. No apology and no greeting. If I didn't love that salad so much I would have just left. I thought to myself how can the service at this location be so bad when the owners at the other location are so warm and welcoming. They hired these people. Even when I went to the location on Forest Hill Ave, I didn't even bother to tell them about the other location's service. Today was a different story. I live about 15-20 minutes away from the Downtown Market location. I choose this location today because I also wanted sushi from next door. I walk over and a young female worker doesn't say hi, I greet her. She then just tells me she's not open until 12 noon and walks off. Now I know that they open at 11 am. That is why I waited. I've been here several times to know this. Now if something came up causing a delay, or covid caused a change in hours I could understand, but this wasn't the case. This location was supposed to be open and it wasn't. I told her as she was walking off, I wish I knew before driving all the way out here. But what would be the point, she didn't care. She didn't even apologize for not being open. So, while I was waiting for my sushi, I called the other location, because the internet says this one should be open. They answer the phone, I first asked where they open. They said yes. I then asked if the Downtown Market location supposed to be open. He said yes. I said well it isn't, and the worker said it won't be open until 12. Is there a reason it's closed? Did the hours change? Is this because of Covid? He put me on hold to ask someone else. He then said it was supposed to be open and didn't know why this location was closed. I told him that it's an issue every time I come to this location, and asked was one of the owners working. He put the male owner on the phone, and I repeat the information. He couldn't tell me why this location wasn't open. I asked did the hours change, he was like sometimes hours may vary at that location. I asked so, are the hours different here than the one you are at. He said no, but sometimes they may change. Then I proceeded to tell him about the worker, and the issues at this location. He didn't even seem concerned at all with the poor customer service happening at the Downtown location. He didn't care at all. As a customer that frequents their business every week, this was very disappointing. No apology, nothing. Just wanted to get off the phone because he was probably busy. This is why this review is mixed. The visits to the Forest Hill location have been great. The owners were great when I met them, and the quality of the food is great. The Downtown Market location is the complete opposite, and when brought to the attention of one of

This is my favorite spot for a quick and fresh lunch. I always opt for the Create Your Own Salad; the chipotle ranch is delicious...one day I will branch out to their other dressings. They offer online ordering via Toast (estimated 30mins to prep) and my order is always ready within that timeframe. I did notice a 3% Covid 19 fee (not sure if optional or I just totally missed it at checkout) during my most recent visit but that is a small price to pay to support local. Will definitely be back!

I had the Michigan Cobb salad at the market as a Saturday lunch. It was fresh and delicious. I’d highly recommend this place.

This spot is located within the downtown market - it's a hit or miss on staffing (today there was one person working) so we did have to wait awhile. The plus is that you just have to wait for them to assemble your meal - they don't have to "cook" anything. The downside is also that they don't "cook" anything, haha. I am super picky about my chicken so it was kind of weird for me to see her scoop the chicken out from a warmer and put it on the salad. I prefer something freshly grilled but I understand the convenience aspect.I ordered the Michigan Cobb salad - the size of the salad (ordered the big bowl) was a really good value, but I should have gone with the small, I couldn't finish it. I like how they cut up the lettuce with what looks like a double pizza cutter before they put the other ingredients in- it helps to not get super large lettuce pieces (which is super helpful when there is only a fork given to you). The salad had toppings of bacon, egg, tomato, cherries and chicken. The dressing is Gorgonzola vinaigrette and it was much tastier dressing than expected. Overall, a decent salad. If I check out Bliss&Vinegar again, I'll for sure try a different salad.

I love this restaurant! I like that they have salad, but also warm foods like quinoa bowls and sweet potato chili. I've built my own salad and chosen one of their combinations and have loved it both ways. I can never resist a chocolate cherry bar for dessert - they are my favorite sweet treat! I highly recommend everyone check it out!

I really like Bliss & Vinegar because of their healthy options. I created my own salad with peas, broccoli, cheese & egg and added steak with the chimichurri dressing.

I was hoping this place could be my new go-to salad place. I work very close to here. Unfortunately after doing a build your own salad with 1 protein and 1 extra topping for over $10, I dive in and the chicken is bland and over-cooked, the cheddar cheese is flavorless, and the gorgonzola dressing which should be quite pungent and tasty, is undetectable. Over priced, bland, flavorless food.
