Bea was a great bartender and server! She gave us great guidance on what to order and also was great to chat with! Would come back for the view, food and service.
Food was amazing and the service was even better. Always have a wonderful experience here!!
We sat outside on the upper level, but would try the lower side out next time. It was Sunday and they had a brunch menu with a bloody mary bar. There were so many options! We were just passing through the area but would definitely stop again!
Service was a little slow and they weren't even that busy!! Great food and good times with Amazing People!!
Great location, great friendly professional service, good selection of beer, foot was fine, rather mediocre, middle of the road. Fine dining it is not. Like barbecue sauce on your pizza ?, French dip was offering a lot of cartilage and dried onions, not too bad, was matching the beer. That is an OK place.
Amazing restaurant! Atmosphere was so relaxed. The downstairs section was brilliant. Looking over the lake while eating was so relaxing. Food was delicious! Highly recommend!
A favorite restaurant in NE Grand Rapids. Eat here. Treated my friends to a congratulatory dinner celebrating their engagement. Reservations are not accepted; instead, Yelp Online seating /scheduling app is utilized and it's great! Blue Water staff are professional well trained and frantically busy yet attentive to each diner; our meals were delicious, perfectly prepared and plated. G's steak = thought he was going to faint it was so delicious! This Restr is part of The Gilmore Group - I've never been disappointed by dinner at one of their restaurants...Or their car museum!
Okay, how did I not know about this place?! I loved sitting outside there by the water. Food and service were both great. We ordered a lot of cocktails but the best was the "Hot Guava" margarita with lemon and jalapeños! The boys loved the Blu Bar Eggrolls, their take on the new trend of cheeseburger egg rolls. The corn and banana peppers were a good touch and loved the caramelized onion! The tomato bruschetta was very good. Very acidic of course and I would've preferred the crostini to be a bit more toasted as that much marinated tomato it made it a tad soggy, however still a great, light choice! We also LOVED the Cubano pizza! There was a generous amount of pork and bacon. The sweetness from the swiss/mozz cheese blend worked well with the meat. The pickles were a good touch. BEAUTIFUL view of the water from both indoor and outdoor tables. Host and server were both great and everything came out promptly. We went around 2-3 pm in the afternoon. It was not cheap with all the drinks, but it was worth it. Please forgive me for getting to snap pics. I was loving every moment. I can't wait to come back for another occasion.
Fabulous food and service. Krista was training Jonathan - best servers ever. Food was amazing as was the service. Don’t miss this!!
Ian the waiter and Sheena McDonald the Manager of the nice, cozy environment was excellent. Make sure to get the eggrolls as an appetizer and the fried catfish poboy meal. Very relaxing. Thanks for your service guys ✨?✨.
Was not Impressed with this place at all. Came in and got seated outside where they definitely have a mosquito problem. I ordered the cauliflower and the crab rangoon dip. Both were good. I ordered the steak as an entree. $56 for a 12oz new York strip that I ordered medium came out med rare, red in the middle undercooked. Never had my server even come back to the table til almost an hour after being served. Very disappointed and will not be back. We literally had to ask for salt & pepper at our table. Understaffed with overpriced food.
Such friendly staff and very informative. We like to ask our waiter what they enjoy and we made our decision based on that. The food was amazing and the location is just beautiful!
I understand this place has new cooks and it's difficult to get people to work at the business, but you shouldn't sit people if you know it's going take two hours to sit and drink with no food. I will never come back to this place again. We're traveling here and we travel to Michigan a lot. Hands down the worst service ever.
Our food was meh. I had the curry grilled chicken sandwich and it was lacking flavor. I didn't taste any curry what so ever. My husband had the po'boy sandwich and said the catfish itself was pretty small. I do like that they were so quick (take out) but that's about it. For the price ($32 for 2 sandwiches) of our meal, I expected more, I would give it it a 6/10 at best.
5 Stars for excellent customer service by our server Beth and the new manager. Very great service despite how busy it was and they took great care of us on a very busy night when we had some mishaps with entrees. Both sides of the patio are beautiful and peaceful!
