I love this place. It's on my way home from work. Great food and fast service. Lots of food for a good price. I try to get something different each time. Drunkin noodles, ginger, veggies. Everything has been great and the food is not full of grease like some restaurants.

Since they reopened the food is MUCH better. Erb Thai is as good as any Thai in Grand Rapids, and some of their dishes are hands down the best. The Chiang Mai for instance is a spicy party of delight in your mouth. The staff is friendly and courteous and your food comes out fast and hot!

I agree with other reviews that there is nothing "express" about it. Was told 20 minutes on the phone and it actually took 35+ minutes, they were quite busy. I was surprised how good the pad Thai was. The noodles had some color and he flavor coated all the noodle surface with plenty of carrot, green onion, peanut, And lemon. HOT , the spiciest level, was perfect for someone who can handle heat, it slowed you down but you could still easily eat all of it in one sitting. If I was still eating a ghost pepper a day I could have been disappointed. I thought the chicken noodle balance appropriate. Overall I will be back.

I would definitely recommend this place. I come here at least once a week and every-time is great. The service is fast and the workers have been nice. The chiang mai is great, it was recommended to me by an employee and It was so good I have yet to get anything else.
Reopened and I have had great food here since they reopened. I have had one instance where they were open but did not answer the phone and it just rang and rang- other than that, no issues and good food.

I had the peanut rice noodles with tofu and my fiancee had pineapple noodles with mixed vegetables. Both dishes were delicious. The veggies were perfectly cooked and had the perfect snap to them. The sauce was expertly balanced of flavor and spice. The rice noodles were flawless. I cant wait to come back and try the basil noddles. The menu has a lot to offer and something for every palate. Moderately priced. The dining room was clean with a pleasant decor and atmosphere. The extra 50 cents off for paying in cash was a nice surprise. Give this place a try. You wont be disappointed.

I've been there twice. The first time I ordered Pad Thai, I don't remember exactly why but I like Pad Thai a lot and came away unimpressed. I went again yesterday and ordered the basil curry with chicken. What I got was pretty good curry & rice, a tiny bit of basil & chicken, and loads of bell peppers. To its credit Erb Thai Xpress does have a pleasant, open dining area. Summing up I'd say it's average Thai food in a pleasant setting.
