It's been two years since I moved to Austin, TX, and I still find it incredibly difficult to find pho that matches the quality of this place. Just last week, I visited Grand Rapids, MI, and within two hours of landing, I begged my friend to take me to this spot for lunch. The staff is always friendly (they're always open to moving your seat if you ask!), and the pho is reasonably priced (it's ALWAYS half off!). My favorite item from their menu is their Vietnamese coffee. I've tried countless others in the past - from other pho restaurants to boba shops to coffee houses - but nothing comes close to theirs. They serve it in a glass cup with ice alongside a cup of condensed milk, while hot coffee drips into it. After a few minutes, you're left with one of the best Vietnamese coffees I've ever had. And let's not forget about the pho itself - it's simply AMAZING! Even though I'm not the biggest pho fan, I always finish every last bit of their bowl. My go-to order is usually the rare beef and beef brisket, but I'm confident all their other pho selections are just as good. This place has been a staple for me since my college days in Grand Rapids, MI. I'm just grateful that I can always return to it whenever I'm back in town :)

The Pho is always half off. It's hilarious until you try it. Then it's hilarious and irresistibly delicious. I've had a handful (or bowlful?) of pho's around GR, but this place has to be some of the best. Don't be surprised if there's a little kid running around playing with toys or a tv in the background blasting Vietnamese pop music videos - it's all part of the experience. My go-to pho spot, and it should be yours as well.

Delicious. We got a to-go order of brisket pho, spring rolls, and a couple iced coffees with condensed milk. The food was great, the portions were good, it wasn’t too expensive, and the service was nice and fairly quick. Will definitely go again. Seems like a nice place to dine in as well.

I'm giving five stars because finding an authentic pho place in the middle of Michigan is somewhat surprising.I guess Grand Rapids being a fairly large city you would expect to have at least one around and we hit the nail on the head!Just got off of a plane with the wife, coming from a family funeral out of town and this hot soup and summer rolls were super welcome. They've got a great thing going here and lots of good food. This is going to be my go to lunch of dinner place whenever I visit GR in the future.Living in Ludington I believe there must be an "no oriental" line just north of Muskegon where there's the Asian oriental food desert starts.no decent Oriental or Asian food North of that point for hundreds of miles until you hit Traverse City Maybe. So it's nice to know that GR has some good options whenever we are in town.

My boyfriend loves pho but I had never tried it before. We came here for dinner on a cold night and it hit the spot. Quick service and good food in a warm environment.

I had no idea what to expect when I walked in. I've had really good pho my whole life, so I was pretty curious about this place. I got the Pho Tai Nam - well and rare cooked beef brisket. It was pretty good! I didn't have any complaints - the only thing I'd say is that I love it when my pho comes out piping hot. This was moderately hot, which is fine for most people. I'm just picky that way. The noodles were nice and relatively soft, and the broth was pretty flavorful. I've had more flavorful broths, but this still passed! Something I thought was kind of funny was the way they priced their dishes. All the pho dishes were listed as $20, but above the listed pho dishes - and printed - it said 50% off. So... we got a deal? It seems like a forever deal... We even ordered a dessert at the end - it was something with tapioca, coconut, and condensed milk. I never really got the name of the dessert but it was pretty good! It was a heavy dessert but the coconut flavor and sweetness of the milk was pretty cool and unique. And the tapioca things were interesting- but that is just a personal preference - the long tapioca things weren't exactly my cup of tea. But my friend loved it, so...

First time per recommendations. Ordered the Pho Soup of steak and brisket for $10. You get a nice size bowl and a side of vegetables but not much in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants ive been to. It was ok but not great. Server was not attentive just ordered and served. Was not asked for drinks just gave us water and service not great. This place e needs a serious remodel and the carpets are disgusting.

Your not going for the ambiance, your going for the delicious pho. Always quick friendly service. Don't let the outside scare you off.

Our first takeout from this restaurant but it won’t be our last. Online ordering went great. The acknowledgment time given was accurate. The dining room looked clean with a whole row of booths along a long line of widows that looked like desirable places to dine. A few diners there enjoying pho it looked like. The lobby area a little cluttered with restaurant supplies — I think the best Chinese restaurants never have room in the back for everything. We ordered pork egg foo young and Hunan pork entrees. Hot and sour soup. The soup was some of the best I’ve had and a bargain at $3. Nice spice level and that twinge of sour that makes it good. The Hunan pork well prepared with a surprising yet pleasant spiciness and a nice mix of veg. The egg foo young patties way under seasoned but the gravy excellent. The pork in both entrees was sliced pork loin of excellent quality and taste. White rice served with both was fragrant and plentiful. We will be back maybe to the dining room to try the pho.
