Came here for appetizers. We ordered Brussel sprouts, kale and crab Rangoon flatbread. Everything was perfect. I really enjoyed all of the food we tried. I’d like to come back and try more things on the menu. The table next to us ordered the fish and chips. It looked amazing. Definitely want to try that next!

The food was delicious and decently priced. It took quite a while for someone to come greet us and take our order. Which was surprising since they did not seem busy at all. Our server was polite but not attentive and barely came to check on us. Service was subpar or below. This restaurant definitely has potential but still needs work especially on the service side of the business.Parking: Parking was extremely limited.

Went to River North Public House for the first time last night with my friends. Place was so freaking eclectic and fun as soon as you walk in the door it was Christmas story meets sex in the city then your quirky aunt thrown somewhere in there too. Just saying it was FANTASTIC ambiance! Our amazingly kind server recommended Artichoke mushroom flatbread appetizer and it was delicious! Drinks were decent and main course dropped a fish n chips that would make my grandpa proud! If you get a chance to drop into River North Public House I highly suggest it you WILL NOT be disappointed. Cheers!

Place is great! Servers great! However, 4 of us 2 drinks then left! None could see anything appealing on the menu? Plus we saw 2 other tables and 3 chicken wings? And 1 piece of fish? Ya, drinks were great, but we went down the road to eat. This place needs a menu!

First time here and they had a very welcoming staff, the food was great! It was a little crowded but that just let's you know they have good stuff! Can't wait to come again.
Loved the service! Great appetizers especially the Crabragoon flat bread, and fries with a sauce flight, brilliant!!! The fish was delicious, so was the Kale Chips. Our bartender was so on key and pleasant. Met the owner, she was so friendly and inviting. The Plainfield area really needed this touch of class! We will certainly recommend to everyone cabs will be back.

Being in the Creston area we try and support the local businesses. River North has a great vibe, great cocktails, and typically good service, but we have been consistently let down by some of the food/ serving sizes for the money.$14 for two tacos, served with plain tortilla chips and no salsa is a bit much in my opinion.When I asked to add a taco a la carte because I was still hungry, I was told they could not do that..Our entire group left feeling a bit underwhelmed..
