Love this ice cream shop

Village Cone Shop is a walk up ice cream stand also serving food. Soft serve and hard scooped ice cream in a variety of flavors. Definitely do not skimp on the serving sizes, with a single having two scoops. Looks like the current owners see the business opportunity of being open beyond traditional summer hours. Yes, people like ice cream all year long. Seating areas are a nice touch. Service friendly. Often a line in the evening.

Meh. We ordered lemon/ vanilla twists. Mine was cone in a cup, but the cone was empty and the ice cream had a hollow center. .95 extra for crunch coat and it was maybe 1/2 tablespoon. We both thought Woodys cone stop has better flavored lemon soft serve.

Breton village staple! Been coming here for years and absolutely love. The flavor burst cones are my whole childhood.

Nice selection of hand-dipped flavors or soft-serve ice cream. Fast and friendly service ?

Delicious coffee hard ice cream!

Good, classic soft serve. They also have hard serve and dole whip. We had a shake and a flavored soft serve cone. The small cone was a generous size! Friendly and quick service. Prices aren’t cheap but aren’t bad either. Lots of options. Nice little patio area with a few tables to enjoy your ice cream.

Delicious hard serve and soft serve. I've tried both and never had anything mediocre here, it's all delicious and amazing!

Very nice seating area, one of my preferred soft serve locations in the city

Honestly, this is one of the best burgers and Chicago dogs in the city. The region. Unbelievable.

Great ice cream ? ?

Standard. Lady didn’t seem excited to give ice cream but neither would I on a hot day! Kudos to them

Ice cream is quite good. Service staff seem uninspired at best. I ordered two pints of hand packed ice cream. Neither were filled up. Then asked for 4 sugar cones with the pints ($7+ each) and they not only charged for the sugar cones, they charged .90 each! Stale cake cones were free. Where I am from in Massachusetts the cones get thrown in, and if there is an additional charge we are told in advance and it is not an excuse to price gouge. I gave the additional star because the ice cream is good.

Got the kids all hyped to come here tonight and there was nobody working, despite it being within hours. Now i’m the bad dad! Do better. We won’t be back.
