This has to be the cleanest and most well maintained "dive" bar in Jackson. And I only say dive because of the size and location. They offer friendly staff and regulars, along with great food and drink. Modest but effective and varied tap handle count - full bar with all the favorites! Try the monster corned beef or Gonkie sandwich. Live music once a month with themed events like Sunday Fundays in the summer.
The food and drinks are terrific and the service is extremely good. The atmosphere is very nice and warm and friendly. Go there once and you'll want to put it on your list of favorite places to eat and have a drink.
If you're in the mood for some good food and a home town environment, Moorski's Pub is a great place to be. The owner will greet you as a friend if he's there and they have, what I believe to be, the best rueben in town. Some good draft choices along with the regular favorites. Check it out.
