Lately, whenever I order anything with vanilla...the syrup comes out tooo strong and the drink becomes horrible... I just tried Civil's iced vanilla latte and it is AMAZING !! Very balanced and delicious will definitely come back for more, and hopefully try other items on the menu.
I had an excellent cortado and a cup of coffee. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing with chill beats and bright light. Perfect for work and studying or just catching up with a friend. I'll be back.

The best coffee in Kalamazoo. Period. I rarely come across coffeehouses that exceed my stringent expectations, much less meet them. I am not a casual coffee drinker...I brew a pot the moment I wake up and drink a cup even if I am going to go out and get a cuppa outside of my house. Laugh if you must, but it is the truth.
