Might want to put online that you close for the summer. My sister recommended this place as me and my fiancé are new to the area. Checked online and it said you were open till 11pm. Drove 25 minutes to the restaurant and all they have is a paper sign stating they're closed until August 15th. Really disappointed because we were excited to try the food and frustrated because we wasted the gas because it said you were open.

Super good dogs! Their super thin steak fries are really good.

The facility is kept clean, the crew is super friendly and the food is good. I'm not a huge fan of the pork Oscar Meyer esc hot dog, but the toppings are fantastic. Try the beer cheese and bacon . I love their take on french fries, the thin cut but still soft fries are fantastic with the Cajun seasoning. If you get tenders grab the homemade honey mustard it's legit. Overall it's a good spot, definitely worth checking out. Would definitely go back again.

Very friendly staff and delicious food! The Bronco dogs were the clear winner. Tots were crispy and delicious. Fries are a different thin steak fry so extra good for chili and cheese.

Was really excited always heard Good things about mitten Coney dogs. Unfortunately received food that was barely edible, smelled horrible let alone fries were so soft like they were just dipped in water. Chili sauce had no taste honestly Hormel tastes better

Great selection of hot dogs. Flint style Coney is the best. Try the chili cheese fries made with Founders Beer Cheese, you won't be sorry. Open late to satisfy that late night chili dog craving.

Ate there once. They messed up my order. Decided to give it a second shot came back ordered ranch fries, a chili dog and fried cheese cake. The fries had barely any ranch seasoning on them, the deep fried cheese cake was supposed to be rolled in cinnamon sugar and wasn't. I went up and waited for five minutes to ask for more but the employees were around the corner eating and on their phones didn't even realize I was there I then asked for more and they barely sprinkled any on it. Over all the cheese cake could have been good if they made it correctly and put cinnamon sugar on it when I asked instead of barely putting any on. Hot dogs tasted like rubber. Gave it a second shot but won't be back with the quality of food and customer service.

Let's get it out there- I'm not the greatest fan of hot dogs. I'm usually the kind of guy who will opt for something cheezy and burgery as it comes off the grill, But when we were passing by Western's campus, and I was pointing out everything I could remember and wondering how things could have changed so drastically in a few short years, Sarah and I decided to stop in and treat ourselves to a couple hot dogs to ward of the chill. First off, we were both kind of struck as to how clean the place was- they don't really muck around when it comes to that- it was quiet, too, but I chalk that up as to it being Spring Break over at Western. I think this place also used to be some sort of hairdressing place back when I was in school? Maybe a wholesaler? Ugh, I dunno. But I'm digressing. Sarah ordered a Chicago Dog with cajun fries, and I just opted for a plain old Mitten Dog with sweet relish, mustard, and a squirt of self-applied ketchup. (I know, I know, I put ketchup on hot dogs. Burn me in effigy if you have to.) It took a bit for our order to be prepared, and we looked at the decor as we waited. It's, well... pretty spartan, apart from the pictures from Western sporting events (GO BRONCOS!) and the requisite big golden W on the wall, and the wall art covering the brick wall. Maybe it needs something else...? We ended up just making a run to the drink machine and then checking out our phones for a bit until our dogs were ready. As far as drinks, they have one of those special Coke machines- the ones that make your drink up and mix it all nice and fresh, right out of the tap, and that has all those flavors you can't find in stores. Sarah got an orange Coke, and I opted for a cherry Powerade. This is a plus- it's always nice to try something very new, and this is definitely a drawing point for the restaurant. Our dogs came to the window, and we brought them back to our table. We tried some of the cajun fries- they're apparently made fresh, but a lot thinner than I like- they tasted great, though, and the cajun seasoning gave it a good kick, especially when you added a bit of ketchup. It might have been a mite too strong for me, but they were still good. As for the dogs, Sarah really liked hers, and I liked mine, too. Let's get something straight: these are NOT gas station hot dogs. These are cooked fresh, right as you order them, and they haven't been sitting in hot water, or a steamer, or on a roller for the last couple hours, or all day. You bite into these, you'll get that satisfying snap as you bite through the skin, the one that says 'You're eating a freshly cooked hot dog! Enjoy it!' The sweet relish was plentiful but it was a bit sweeter than I was used to- and there was a bit of a relish avalanche as I finished my hot dog- it did play off the cajun fries well, though! Be warned, though- this place only has one bathroom, and it's incredibly dim in there. You can do what you need to and wash up and get back to what you were doing, though. I just wish it was a bit brighter, though- maybe some bigger-rated lightbulbs? In the end, I have to give this place a 4- it's really good, and if I was still on campus I would be coming over for some hot dogs every few days. Broncos, don't let this one die off like Sliders did, yeah?
