Tried to order pizza delivery today but the website tells me that my address is outside the delivery area...I'm 2 miles away! As a high risk individual for covid 19 I often order takeout. Lucky for me there are at least 5 pizza places within 3 miles of my house.

FOOD POISONING This place doesn't even deserve my one star. I'm not being a "Karen" either. I've worked in the food industry and this shouldn't happen. EVER. My husband and I have had food poisoning/stabbing pains in our stomachs since eating a pizza from here 4 days ago. DON'T EAT THEIR FOOD. It's not worth this, trust me. I hope owners/management see this and seriously crack down on some health codes. Haven't gotten something this bad in a long time.

Waited over 1 hr 45 minutes for delivery. Had to cancel. No sorry no apology or anything just a ok its refunded c-ya. Never ordering from there again.

Specifically repeated over the phone over and over again for no cheese on my pizza as I cannot have it. Of course, I go to pick it up and there’s cheese on it. Also 5 employees standing around so I’m confused how no one caught that the order was wrong. I’m glad I opened the box before I paid $13 for the wrong pizza.

Honestly papa John’s is usually one of my favorite chain pizza places. I also never leave a review unless it’s a good one..today I’ve made an exception. We were in Kalamazoo as my mother had surgery at the Heart Institute and afterwards she wanted some pizza. *its her usual every time we come here*. We ordered their special which was one 2 topping and one specialty so we ordered a thin crust “Hawaiian” BBQ pizza and a thin crust ham and pineapple along with a cheese bread. I sent my partner to pick it so I could stay with my mom since I was leaving after her pizza arrived. In the store my partner asked for a small box that we could take part of the original ham and pineapple pizza up to her hospital room and she not have a huge box. She then put some of it in the small box and left. Once I took the remaining pizza home I discovered that the “Hawaiian” BBQ pizza was just plain BBQ chicken, the regular ham and pineapple was still doughy, and our cheese bread was just a circle of uncut cheese “bread”. I called the store to let them know, was transferred from the first person to another woman who while gave me a free pizza, was extremely snotty and tried to place the blame on me. To which she said that i ordered an “aloha” BBQ chicken and they didn’t call their pizza that. Aloha...hawaiian I think pretty much the same thing. ♀️ Then she said that she figured it was fine because my partner was “eating” the pizza in the store. Which she was not. I don’t even care about the food being messed up as much as I care about the attitude when I was strictly just telling her there was some minor mistakes to the order. If you can’t be friendly to customers...perhaps you shouldn’t be in customer service.

Yesterday my girls (3 and 5years old) and I were having a relaxing saturday, so we ordered pizza. About 8pm, my youngest was throwing up. Then 12am, my oldest starts, all while I'm starting to feel quezy myself. 3am hits, we're all getting sick. what the heck?!

Ordered a pizza and was pleased that it was delivered in a reasonable time (1/2 hour). although the pizza was hot, but they still skipped on the sause, it's like a tiny bit. This was after I asked that they please do not send me a dry pizza. I've had more than enough so-so,pizzas from papa John's, I give up. They either take forever to deliver ( one time it was 2 hours) and bring a lukewarm dry sauced pizza or you get a hot dry sauced pizza when they deliver on time. Either way, they don't really know what a good pizza is, and they charge as though it's a good one. I'm done with them. Pizza is supposed to have cheese and sauce on it, you shouldn't have to pay extra for it.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like Papa John's has gone downhill. It could just be this one, I don't know, it just tastes like the quality of everything went down. However, I do remember one of my co workers awhile back said something similar. Now I know they were right.
