If you are in the mood for a crusty dive bar, this place rocks. Affordable drinks, pool, karaoke, good burgers, they have everything. Hats off to the owners for taking a kalamazoo classic and breathing some new life into it.

From karaoke to live music to some of the best people, you’ll be satiated. The drinks, supreme. The food, beyond compare. Trust me, the atmosphere might be holding you back, but it shouldn’t. It’s a family. That’s the most simple explanation. But, trust me, you’re already welcome. It’s amazing, wonderful, and fun. New owners have changed a bit, but never the vibe. It’s rizz, probably. I don’t fully understand what rizz is, but SugarBowl probably is. Just come once. You’ll love it.

A 5 Star DIVE BAR! Draft beer under $2. Burgers under $10. Probably one of the best burgers in Kzoo. Everything is cooked in butter and the Patties come out crunchy crispy texture on the tips of the meat.Staff is friendly, owners work the bar, Debbie is the barmaid adding to the charm. Short older gal and hard of hearing, but if your are patient with her she is fantastic at taking care of you.Cliental is a great older group, vets, disabled, retired, fun, sociable crew. Lots of blue collar folks too. Pool table, juke box, live music, and if you want to dance just move a table off to the side.Restrooms are charming in the dive bar kinda way. The place is clean but the building is fabulously run down and beat up being a dive bar since 1948?!It has all the charm a great dive bar should. Fugging love it!
