Best drinks and food to die for. Wonderful service and great staff.
I ordered steak & it was good. The drinks were fair. We did have quite a bit of a wait. I'd recommend it... hopefully If I ever return, I'm not waiting too long for service.
First of all the place is dirty and we out of date. I understand the trying to go with the old retro steakhouse look but the problem is they just haven’t updated it which is the only reason it looks like that. Second of all the food is way overpriced for what you get. The caprice salad is warm, and I paid nine dollars for a glass of wine when you can get a bottle literally anywhere for 7.99, most importantly the service was awful. The waitress had said she been there for 23 years so we figured she may be at least good at what she does, not at all! Not only did she take forever but she continuously told me that I should’ve ordered no onions even though I asked for light onions. Did not make any sense if I want to no onions I would’ve ordered no onions. Then she made a comment about how we were basically sleeping at the table when we were waiting for our check for 25 minutes, after realizing how tired we were and how long we’ve been waiting she’s still continue to sit there and talk to her coworkers and make us wait longer, my husband never complains at restaurants and normally gets mad when I do but he’s the one who asked me to leave this review. That says a lot because he’s all about giving people great tips and good reviews even when they suck. I’ve lived around here my whole life and I’ve always wondered How the food was, we were extremely disappointed. We even considered walking out at one point because we were waiting for our bill for so damn long. And it’s not like they were busy we literally watched her sit and talk to her coworkers while we’re falling asleep at the table
From the outside it looks like a dive. But once inside the atmosphere is very nice. It is a little pricy but worth it. If you should ever want to go and check it out. Ask for a waitress named Ruthann. She is a great waitress and you will like her service. She has been there for 22yrs. Hope to see some new faces in there.
Good dinner. Excellent service. A little above moderate prices. Wide variety menu. Steaks, seafood, pasta.
Absolutely amazing! The quality of the food, and I'vr had a number of different dishes, makes this place stand out. Excellent service, too. Ruth Anne was our server, and she's the best!
We had our first visit to the restaurant last night. We were seated next to the bar where the customer's were talking so loud, we could barely hear ourselves speak. Even the waitress commented on it. Sadly, it was super disappointing that the Covid precautions were not taken seriously. The bartender had his mask under his chin the entire time we were there and the musician came in to set up next to us with no mask at all! I felt very exposed sitting there. I ordered the seafood strudel, while good, was only warm temperature wise, as was my mashed potatoes. I did comment to my husband that my house salad with blue cheese dressing was delicious and fresh. Some of the best blue cheese dressing I've had in a very long time. My husband had the special lobster ravioli. While he wasn't crazy about the pile of peppers on it, which seemed out of place on a delicate ravioli topped with palomino sauce, he said he loved the sauce and the pasta. Also, our server was very pleasant and attentive. We would go back but only when and if they enforce the mask with their staff.
A group of 6 of us visited Boodles on a Thursday night and had a great time - as usual . I've never had a bad visit to boodles. My fiancé and I have our go-to meal when we go ourselves- splitting the table side Caesar for two and splitting one of the steaks. I decided to branch out this time and order the perch tower, which was perfectly fried and delicious. Of course we could not forego the Caesar. We got two orders of the Caesar for 2- and it was PLENTY of salad for the 6 of us. The old school feel and service is irreplaceable. Our waitress RuthAnn made our night! (Told us to basically have as much fun as we wanted and just kept pouring the wine ). It may not look like much on the outside, but don't let that deter you from stepping inside. Truly one of our favorite places in metro Detroit.
Good food and service. Kind of reminds me of peabodys from Birmingham
One of my favorite places to go! Absolutely amazing food and wonderful staff.
Great location to get together with people from across the whole area.
Good food and service. However air conditioning was not working or working well. Very warm inside.
Very friendly staff. Kitt was a delight and the food quite good too! ?
This place obviously knows how to satisfy their clients. Consistently with a nice attitude. The food is affordably priced, regularly delicious and clean.
The steaks are the best I ever had!! Will now be my new spot!! The service was excellent!!
