Walking in it is a little older vibe, dark with mood lighting and live piano music. If you are worried about the pandemic I will be honest, I could touch both the piano player and the table next to use. That is the only reason for knocking off a star. That aside, food was amazing! Rolls came out fresh and warm. I had the Seafood Strudel, not what I expected but it was a good surprise! I usually do not like scallops but they were so yummy! My date got the Pork Chop special and it was very tender with cranberries which was a nice touch! He had a side of Beef Barley soup and he couldn't stop talking about it! Price is a little on the higher end and I didn't think the service reflect the price!

I wish I could comment on the food. We are new to the area and hoped to make it a regular place if only judging by menu. But...in the time of covid...while waiting for my carryout, I could see into the kitchen and no kitchen staff were wearing masks. The gal bringing my food had no mask. I saw a total of two fully masked staff in the whole place. I didn't take my order home. Very disappointing that these folks don't take the pandemic seriously.

The wife wanted to just try something new. So we went on restaurants by my location and it worked out for the good. It is so funny you pass all these mom and pop places in your daily travels and think nothing of them, we really just go to commercialized restaurants. Boodles had great service, wonderful food ( the bread was so delicious, home made) and the price was awesome dinner for 2 was about $70 that included my drink. Great Job and keep up the good work.

Love this place. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional! It is our first time going here and we’re very impress! The best part is the rack of lamb! ??

We love Boodles. My family has been going to Boodles for decades. When my now husband told me he wanted to take me to a gem of a place that I had probably "never heard of" and he said Boodles, I knew he was the ONE. The charm to Boodles is inherent. You can't recreate it. It's cozy and established. The friendly staff, the set up of the bar, and the live music make you feel like you are at home. The food is classic, comforting and delicious. They have a great wine list and a full bar. The caesar salad, steak diane and veal oscar are a few of our favorites, but everything at Boodles is good. Anyone who says anything otherwise does not appreciate the art of a classic like Boodles. It's the best!

This place never fails. Best Ceasar salad. Solid steak house specials. And they make a great old fashioned!

I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I must say the customer service is always good and they keep the place well organized at all times. Pricing is convenient and they serve big portions.

Where do I begin... if you want a fancy restaurant or are looking to impress that someone special... this is the spot. Look no further. I have been to the best of the best and this restaurant takes the show.I have been going here over 13 years. I would compare this to a "Mr. Pauls Chop House". It has a very intimate close candlelit feel. The smells of wine, fresh bread and tableside desserts set on fire for a feast for your eyes and your tastebuds. The waitstaff is always incredibly polite and helpful. They have daily chefs specials that are always amazing and the wine selection in huge. Ask your waiter what would pair nicely with your meal. They are very knowledgeable. I would recommend you dress up a bit when you come here. I wouldn't say it's required but for the atmosphere you really should. I always start with a table side ceaser salad( A must have recommendation by me...) and I also get the tenderloin and baked potato. French onion soup is a must have to here. (COME HUNGRY)I usually order the rose to drink or the recommend choice the waiter suggests. *(Spanish Coffee is to die for. Made right.) Keep in mind this is a fancy restaurant. If your used to dining at upper class establishments you know nothing is ever rushed. Your paying for the dining experience. There is a fair amount of time in between each course so don't rush.I hope you truly were able to read this whole review so you can experience everything this gem has to offer. By far without a doubt my favorite restaurant in all of Michigan!

If I was rating just a normal steakhouse, I would give this place a four star rating. However, we came here for the experience and entertainment of having all of our food prepared table side which is not offered at other steakhouses. When you include exceptional service by Tanja (she was totally on her game!), I can't help but leave a five star rating. Bread. The rolls came right out of the oven, piping hot and dusted with Parmesan cheese. Once they cooled off, they were fluffy pillows with a thin crust. The basket included sesame breadsticks. Italian wedding soup. There were so many meatballs floating around in the cup. It was so hearty and flavorful. My kid regretted not ordering one after she tasted mine. Caesar salad made table side. Wow! Better than Mr Paul's. He eyeballed the measurements instead of using cups and spoons. The dressing was the best I have ever had. Chateaubriand flambéd tableside. We wanted to see some fire since covid19 canceled our camping trip, and that's what we got. The char on the tenderloin was delicious and perfectly cooked medium to medium rare. It was served with asparagus, broccoli, tomatoes au gratin, roasted red pepper, portobello, and mashed potatoes. The hollandaise sauce was wonderful but I wasn't a fan of the Demi glace for the tenderloin. Bananas foster flambéd tableside. More fiery goodness! The flame probably shot up about two feet that my kids were chanting Boodles! Boodles! Boodles! as words of encouragement for more fire. It wasn't too sweet. The bananas weren't overcooked and were still soft. It's a bit dark inside, which makes total sense once you are blinded by the sun or headlights peeking through the window coverings. The parking lot is a bit rough and uneven. From the looks of the crowd and their interactions with the staff, this place draws a lot of regulars.Someone finally said "who wants to go to Boodles? Let's go to Boodles."

We had not been here for a couple of years, and were pleasantly surprised to find the food (tonight, the steak au poivre and perch tower) was as good as expected, as was the service. Why the three stars? We saw exactly one waiter and one busboy wearing masks. The host, the manager, and our waitress (among others) had masks barely covering their mouths, let alone their noses, and one waiter wore his mask around his neck like a scarf. We are not older or high risk and didn't make a scene, but if you are concerned about COVID, take note.
