The food was incredibly amazing, the chef even came out and sparked up a conversation which was very enjoyable! On the other hand, the servers here are just awful. They have zero motovation, they seem to be depressed and are done with life.My server could give 2 dead flies my drink was empty or that we needed napkins and silverware. It truly was a bizarre experience, I hope the servers read this and find other work.

I dine here often, at least once a month. Always great. Except this last time on 4/29. I ordered the garlic yaki udon and my partner ordered the curry yaki udon. Our normal order. Was almost inedible with how salty it was. Only reason I finished mine was because it was $33 with my add-ons. We were both too shy to say something but please cut back on the salt. We were both pretty sick afterwards and we should have said something. Other than this one bad experience, we always enjoy ourselves.

Great food, always fun to try new menu items, never disappointed. You can't go wrong with their Miso Ramen and Curry Udon. We tried vegan Pho and Yaki butter udon, great options

The reason we went to this restaurant was due to the reviews. It took more than 40mins to get our food on table. The food was so so. It is NOT authentic Japanese food to me at all. Wife ordered a shrimp pho, the noodle soup was not hot but only warm. Waiter and waitress never came back to ask about how the food was. In summary, definitely over rated. We will definitely not come back to this place. Over price too.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ima Noodles in Madison Heights, and it left a lasting impression. Here’s why:Noodle Perfection: The star of the show is undoubtedly the noodles. Whether you’re a ramen aficionado or a udon enthusiast, Ima has got you covered. The Spicy Tori Ramen with ginger beef and chili shrimp was a delightful explosion of flavors. The broth was rich, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the toppings spot-on. I appreciate that they offer both pork-free and gluten-free options.Charming Ambiance: Ima strikes a balance between modern and cozy. The minimalist decor, wooden accents, and dim lighting create a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a leisurely meal with friends or family.Friendly Service: The staff at Ima are attentive and knowledgeable. They patiently guided me through the menu, explaining the different options. Kudos to their excellent service!Variety: Beyond noodles, Ima offers an array of shareable plates, rice bowls, and housemade dumplings. The Smoked Pork Belly Don and Golden Curry are also worth trying.Vegan-Friendly: As a vegetarian, I appreciate that Ima clearly labels vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. It’s refreshing to have choices that cater to different dietary preferences.

Really good, but rather expensive for what you get. $5 upcharge gets you 6 cubes of sweet potato, $8 edamame appetizer is like 20 pods in a little bowl. $12 tofu appetizer is only 5 little pieces. By the time you add anything good to your ramen, your single serving bowl might run close to $30.Ordering app is glitchy (or scammy) as items disappeared from my cart while ordering (possibly bc another person in my group put their order through), so I put them in my cart again, and sent my half of order through.....and then ended up with duplicate orders of the already overpriced appetizers.Again, food is excellent.... but don't feel like the prices are justified- it certainly isn't going towards dinning room decor, atmosphere, or service, which is basically a fast food cafeteria with online ordering only, even if dining in. James Beard nomination status (what a weird brag btw, not an award, just a nomination lolol) doesn't warrant the upcharge either, imo.

Ramen is not authentic but who cares it is good.Price is ridiculous. Kind of Ferndale vibe... Too pricey tbh.. But... Food is decent.

The ramen is really good especially the Tonkotsu broth. It’s a lil pricey for a piece of pork belly in Tonkotsu Ramen. They could add another one for the price.Overall good
