I stop by Zhang's all the time. The managers are always kind and helpful. Their BBQ is made fresh daily, so I go earlier for the best selection. I always get a whole roast duck-- flavorful and crispy. It is clean and well kept inside, I recommend!

This is located in a shopping plaza next to the Chinese grocery store. Authentic Chinese BBQ. They do cash only transactions, so be prepared. They have roasted pork, chicken, duck and other meats. The service is friendly, but their English isn't the best. Come in speaking Cantonese and Mandarin and you'll score a lot better in asking for exactly what you want. The place is brightly lit and looks pretty clean. We picked up the bbq pork and pig ears.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The food was excellent. Our server, Kimmie, was an absolute delight. I ordered the bao buns stuffed with sweet pork. My husband ordered the pork pot stickers. Both were very good. We also had the eggplant hot pot, which was loaded with vegetables as well as my favorite wood ear mushrooms. It was in a light garlic sauce and yummie! We also had stir fry cashew chicken, which also had lots of veggies. Both dishes were a delight and really enough fir 4 to 5 people. My husband ordered hot and sour soup to go, and I'm looking forward to trying it tomorrow. Although it's a 50-minute drive from where we live, the food was well worth the long drive.

Classic Chinese barbecue spot - if you’re not sure what to get, can’t go wrong with a pound of Roast pork belly, and a pound of duck. This place doesn’t have sides because these places never have sides, it’s almost more like a deli; take the meat home and put it over some rice. But definitely snag a piece or two of crispy pork skin in the car when it’s hot and at it’s best!

Legit! Came here with my sister to pick up some Asian BBQ to have dinner with my parents and I must say that this place hits the mark. We got 1lb of BBQ roast pork, 1lb of BBQ grilled pork, and 1 whole duck. Plenty of food and plenty delicious. I think the best time to get these items is when they are just open as the BBQ is made fresh for the day. Comparable to what I had in NY and CA. Give this place a try if you are in for some Asian BBQ. REMINDER...CASH ONLY business.

Amazing. I have been scouting out this place for years and finally stopped in. Everything I hoped it would be. Got half a roasted duck for $17.70 . Tons of food. I have ordered half duck before from local places and have never received this much food. Also mostly meat not just bones. Went in at 6 pm and they still had pork . Did not try the pork but will next time for sure! Very delicious and a great value . Wished I lived closer because it hard to find a good BBQ-only place.

Came all the way out to Detroit for Zhang BBQ. Was it a bit disappointed to be honest. I tried the bbq pork and the roast pork. The cuts that I got were on the skinnier side, so they didn't hit the spot. The skin on the pork also wasn't crispy. The staff were nice though. I would give them another try when I'm in the neighborhood again.
Great bbq, I wish they would redo their sign inside showing the prices of the meat though since most of the letters are
