We came in about 20 minutes before close, desperate for a place to eat. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, and our takeout was ready quickly! Everything the four of us ordered was DELICIOUS, plus they gave us lots of chips. Great prices for the portion. This place may not look like much, but the great service and food cannot be beat. Would definitely order again if I'm back in town.

Portions are good but the quesadilla suprema is very salty and hard to heat. I couldn’t pick it up and cutting it didn’t work because the tortilla is so crispy. The tortillas were great and tasted homemade. The restaurant itself is very small with limited tables. Our party of 6 was unable to sit together. No ac. They have two window units but it barely makes a dent when the door opens every five minutes. Easily 80 degrees in there in early august.

I like (authentic) Mexican food, and so I was very pleased to find this place. Is the location great? Not bad if you're driving through. Is the decor/ambience great? No. But the menu is balanced and the execution is great. Be advised, this isn't Americanized Mexican food, but the flavors are wonderful and the staff warm and welcoming.

This is a no frills place. NO BEER OR ALCOHOL. I point this out as I typically go to our local restaurants and order a beer as I wait for the food. It’s just basic Mexican food but good. Looks dingy but as a dietitian I saw no issues.

I can't say enough good about this place. I've been here multiple times with family and friends and always suggest this place for someone looking for great food. I've never left here hungry. You get a ton of amazing food for a tiny price. So much flavor packed onto a plate its hard to say it all. I will for sure be coming back with family as always because this place is amazing. The owner is a pretty cool guy as well as the waitresses are always amazing. Can't wait to come back!

I was looking for a good mexican restaurant while visiting the light house. The food was good, the prices were reasonable. I was also pleased with the service and we had a very friendly waitress. All good here at La Riviera!

They charge 3.50 for a soft drink additional money for each item and a surcharge for not paying cash. Menu's do not reflect the price. Quesadilla had hardly no cheese. Tamale had a table spoon of pork inside. The steak tacos were very good. 3 alacart items and 3 drinks $37.00
We stopped at LA Riviera for dinner yesterday. Place is kind of run down looking, but clean. Staff were wonderful. Fast and friendly. A lot of food choices and good prices. Our food was outstanding. I highly recommend this place.

I had the chicken fajitas with chorizo, and they were absolutely delicious! The tortillas were fluffier than a cloud, the meat was well seasoned and not too spicy. A generous helping of fresh guac, pico, rice, and beans. I couldn't believe it! There was 5 full-sized plates between the two of us, full of food! We took two large take home boxes home with us and both agree it is worth the drive from Ludington.

Great service, warm and friendly. The salsa, beans, rice were so yummy and fresh tasting. Great quality, would definitely recommend. They could use better street visibility as we almost missed them on a busy street.
