Hunter's Ale House

Nice looking place. Large party of 40 or so were rushed out on a Friday night around 11 because the staff wanted to prepare our reserved side room for a party the next morning. We were urged into the main dining area for last call. This isn't the way Dave ran things. Very disappointed.

I really enjoyed the location. The server was very kind to verify the ingredients of the meatloaf were pork free because of my allergies. I had a new item of meatloaf on the menu. If I was ordering again I would ask for the gravy on the side. It was a bit much and a little too much salt for my taste. The loaf was cooked perfectly. The steamed vegetables were perfect with great taste. Family ordered the brat special, buffalo chicken sub, and a Brewhaus burger they were all happy with the food. Best thing was the atmosphere and kind service.

When my fiance and I got there we stood at the entrance along with another family waiting, for around 10 minutes maybe longer to be assisted and seated. My fiance order herself a drink that came out in about 5 minutes. We ordered the loaded fries they said they were out so they had to use steak fries. We said that okay. Along with that I ordered myself a drink. It took about 15-20 minutes for the drink to come out and when the appetizer came out, it was terrible. The drink was so bad it tasted like cough medicine. I sent it back after just a sip out of a 32oz drink and they still charged me full cost for it. The waitress barely attended us after claiming it was slow all day. This is sad because the first time we went it was excellent. I will most likely not be back after only my second time of visiting.

Horrible service & mediocre food. Will never return..... came home from FL and asked my family to meet for food and drinks. When we first arrived we received a friendly welcome. As the 10 of us completed our arrival, our waitress Anna, continued to become more and more negative/rude. We waited around 10-15 minutes for drink refills (alcohol, soda, lemonade, etc.) almost every time and that was even if we could get Anna's attention to ask for drinks. I approached the manager regarding this and he gave me the excuse they are busy. I mentioned Anna's poor attitude and was given the excuse, again, it's busy. The whole restaurant only had 7 other tables. Receiving our food order took 30+ minutes. I ordered the artichoke dip as an appetizer and the chips were stale. Anna took so long to return that the dip was cold, our food was finally being delivered, where I sent the plate back. She tried to charge me for the dip, and when I told her to take it off my tab, she said she had to ask her manager. Needless to say no one from our party will be returning.

The experience my group had at Hunter’s was very mediocre. Firstly our food took 45 minutes to come out (we understand it was a Tuesday and was trivia night, but we got there at 7:30 when it was an hour before trivia started and it was only us and 5 other small groups there) when we ordered a burger with onion rings, a BLT sandwich with fries, and a chicken wrap with fries. To start, I asked for my burger to be medium well (a light pink center) and it came out burnt and my onion rings were hard as a rock. The grilled chicken wrap was dry and the coleslaw that came on the side was sour. The BLT was also dry and there was no mayo on it. I do appreciate the server asking to take something off our check, but we all ate all of our food because of how expensive everything is. Definitely will not be going back.

Drove 40 minutes to eat with my family to find out it’s 21 and up after a certain time. Would not allow us to get a wrist band to eat or sit way in the back. Lost a customer that comes every weekend for the pizza.
