The food was awesome. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Played musical bingo for first time. Shelly was a great host.

There's nothing ever bad to say about Chaps. We come here frequently, whether it's in Richmond or Armada.I'm never disappointed.

Very disappointed with the newly remodeling - generic gray barnwood tiles like everyone else and not one picture or decoration. Please bring back the atmosphere!

I had the best margarita ever. The Bavarian pretzel with cheese was great too.
Food was o.k. Apparently there was a comedy show tonight. The very unfunny comedian actually told us to quiet down because he was watching another comedian. I thought this was very rude.

Not my first choice for eating. I know it has been under new management and one of the main reasons I've held out from eating here. Decided to give it a try and no. The clam chowder was awful no flavor just potatoes and clam, not to mention it was way too thick. The Cajun trio was terrible. Cooked fish with zero flavor heavily seasoned after cooking. The shrimp was tough as rubber and the loaded baked potato was not baked. Could definitely tell the potatoes was boiled first.

Chaps is now call Commercial House. It is under new ownership. The cheeseburger is one of the best in the area. The burger is a blend of sirlion, prime ribs and top round. Talk about a juicy burger...

Great service, food was awesome, and prices were great!!! The interior was comfortable and clean! It was quite busy on a Friday night, still got in right away and got a seat, seemed like they might have had only one cook it took a while to get our order, but all in all still a great place to eat!

Ok I love the staff! I will not name anybody. When new owners took over I am positive. Food good but my complaint is I ask for my fish extra crispy. I always do a take out. I had to re cook my food! I ordered a Rueben and fries and all was undercooked. I just would like to servers and cooks to come together. It’s mostly the fried foods. I’ve been going there for 20 plus years, fried foods have been 2nd guess for me.

Since changing names from Chaps to Commercial House the Menu has been cut in half and so has the serving stiff. Our drinks were watered down. Took 2 hours to get our food and it was mediocre at best. They made mistakes in our order and seemed to ignore the dining tables and only take care of tve bar. What a disappointment from the old Chaps!

Went here because the place we had planned on was closed. Parked in back and the concrete steps leading into the back door are literally crumbling. Giant holes and cracks. Yikes. Hubby got french onion soup. Lukewarm and no cheese. I had a BLT. Hands down the worst I have ever had. The bacon was like chewing on shoe leather. My mother ordered a chicken quesadilla that arrived in a puddle of grease. She couldn't even eat the two inside pieces.. Our waitress seemed confused and disoriented and incredibly slow. We waited easily 20 minutes to pay the bill. Sorry wont be back.

The food is amazing! I recently had the blackened salmon and chicken parm. Both were spectacular. The waitresses were courteous and prompt! I would highly recommend this restaurant!!
