I watched a young lady pack orders and door dash without gloves..long nails. And very long braids and extensions that she touched and pushed back every time she moved. Constant hands in her hair.. I'm so grossed out I could barely eat..husbands sandwich was good my lamb was a stingy fatty chewy mess..never again!!

I wanted to give this a good rating because I like the Detroit location. It looked good when it arrived. I expected a hot gyro schwarma and got a cold falafel gyro with cold fries.DO NOT eat here. Go to the Detroit location instead.

That was the most disgusting shawarma I’ve ever had. Garlic sauce was everywhere. My hands were a watery mess of meat juice. The librarian must have thought I was a degenerate. Can’t wait to come back.The service here seriously sucks though.Edit: 1 year later and the service still sucks. It's amazing that every single time I've come here the service is actually horrible. Neither of the Detroit locations are this bad.

The girl at the counter/register with big curly hair needs to be replaced. Beyond rude customer service and doesn’t acknowledge you when you ask a question. Politely asked multiple times how long til my order is ready and she just stood there completely ignoring me the whole time, as if I was some inconvenience to her. Don’t want to deal with customers find another job. Then another lady finally came up and helped me instead and my food was waiting ready behind the girl on the rack the whole time. I appreciate the other lady helping me out. Don’t expect anyone to greet you or acknowledge you when you walk in. The atmosphere there is horrible.

I’ve always known the meat in shawarma sandwiches from everywhere to be hot/ warm. I asked if i could wait for the meat that was fresh off the grill and was given a barely lukewarm sandwich. I touched the meat to confirm that it was the actual meat that wasn’t warm at all. They tried to tell me it’s because the lettuce and sauce is cold it can cool the sandwich down…? But I’m thinking to myself “that fast”??? Lol. The guy offered to make another but I declined because I had already waited long and was ready to get home after work. Not a big deal for most, but I just thought that was odd, and if the meat wasn’t going to be warm I would have just preferred not to wait extra. I do appreciate the guy offering to make another sandwich though. Maybe their meat just cools down fast, idk.
Placed a carry out order and went to pick it up, drove half way home and noticed missing items. Drove back and wasted 40 minutes because they forgot pita. Girl at the counter wanted to act like this was personally affecting her paycheck and placed the blame on the people who ‘pack the bags’. Charged me for extra pita when making it right would have just been giving an extra away. Rude customer service, then I get home and find out the salad is the incorrect one. Talk about a fun experience when I’ve been going here 10 years and know what to expect.

I got the chicken shawarma and let me tell you it was blend af. Way too much salt and don’t have a proper sauce to go with it. The only sauce they have is ketchup. For the price they give you good amount of quantity but the quality straight wack. Yes it’s edible not not tasty.
