Stellar sliders, solid shakes, and chill atmosphereI ordered a double-cheeseburger slider and vanilla shake.The Slider: the bun is not cakey but rather a soft sponge-type bread that absorbs the juice of the burger well. This leaves a great meat-to-bun ratio, and the cheese melt is glorious, covering every part of the patty. I witnessed the maestro on the grill as he made my sliders, and he used the tried and true "pinch and pull" method of lifting the patty off the grill. I then saw him scrap the melted cheese on the grill and add it to the burger. It was a marvelous process to witness and a magical taste to experience. The sliders were hot, cheezy, and accompanied by caramelized onions and a touch of ketchup added for some sweetness. I was highly impressed by the double-cheeseburger sliders I ordered, so much so that I ate 5 in total.The Shake: It was creamy and delicious, and it was just right in that Goldilocks zone of not being too thick and not too milky.I ate lunch on a Sunday, and there were only a few other diners, so it was a very calm and chill environment to enjoy my food in. The service was prompt and respectful. I was not waiting long either for my order to be taken or delivered.Parking: Plenty of paid parking on Main Street but there are parking garages nearby that are free for the first 2 hours. I parked a 5 min walk away in the neighborhoods so I could park for free and enjoy the nice weather on my walk.

The food was GREAT, the lady taking care of us was on her phone playing videos loud as hell, but, the burgers made up for it. Imagine a burger between two clouds, that was the damn bun!!!! I hurt myself eating 2 burgers and my fries! But, but .... They have PEPSI!!! I hate that Coke is a default at most places, that made my meal!Thanks

The food was amazing! My husband tried te egg rolls, they were so good! The corned beef egg roll is a must try! I had a patty melt, which was perfectly crisp, cheesy, and NOT greasy. My kid raved about her cheeseburger and ate every bite! Our server, Katy, was friendly and patient with the kiddos. If your in Royal Oak, stop in for a burger and shake! Super cute 'lunch car' decor, counter service or 2 top seating, clean bathrooms.

This retro place hits all the high notes. It’s supposed to be a greasy spoon but nothing was very greasy and that translated to a good night of sleep. The servers were helpful and friendly and the place looked clean and had nostalgia for a time gone by.
